I finally upgraded to an iPhone and love it. I was wondering what your favorite Disney and other apps are. There are so many out there, I thought some recommendations would be a good start. Thank you!

Love Jango and Pandora for music.

Yelp for finding places to eat.

Have tons of Disney apps!

Just found out about the Disney Gift card app, which helps you track balances on gift cards

TWIZ- transportation wizard for Disney

Dtunes- DIsney parks music

Tripit

Beers and Ears

Poynt- Helps you locate restaurants, etc, that are close by.

Lines

WDW Coin presses

FindIphone

Genius Scan-- Makes your phone a scanner

Amazon Price check- Compares prices

Instagram

Pintrest

Balloon Animals (My kids love this)

Dropbox

Password keeper- Saves all your passwords

Runkeeper

Flipboard- Manages your media sites

Most are free, none are more than 2 dollars.

Have fun playing with your new phone!

My Disney Apps are Disney Parks, WDW lines, WDW times, Undercover tourist, DLR lines, and disney memories.

My favorite apps are Words with Friends (addicted), Draw Something, Weather Channel, Flashlight, Facebook (of course), Hop stop (GREAT for walking and mass transit directions in major cities), Best Parking (cheapest parking in NYC among others), QR reader, Shop Savvy, WAZE (my GPS program and it shows speed traps, accidents, and it;s fun!), Night Sky (now I can find the planets!), Yelp, Emoji icons (funny characters for texts etc), Zillow and Trulia for house seaching, Optimum from Cablevision (I can watch live TV on my iPhone free, amazing), Walgreens (scan my pill bottles for refills, incredible), Tivo, banking apps, Instagram, southwest, lowes, disneystore, amazon, ebay, GasBuddy (find the cheapest gas), QVC, Kindle (I read on the iPhone when waiting in drs offices, etc), Turboscan, and so many more!!

Got my iPhone 2 months ago, and it is just so.much.fun!!! :cheer2:

Waze also does spoken turn by turn directions and shows traffic and speed trap info. Maybe I will try mapquest too, and see which i like better. I like Waze better than my GPS, which loses the signal and (mine) has trouble in cities like NYC.

I did not have the D tunes app! I love it!

Okay, here are my must have Walt Disney apps for my iPhone and iPad.

OLP Transportation Wizard - This app will help you get from anywhere on WDW property to any other location on WDW property. Works great when you need to go from resort to resort for a dining reservation.

Touring Plans Lines - This one is great not only for telling how long the lines are at each ride but also has a neat chat community.

Disney World Magic Guide - This app is actually several apps in one. It has MAPS, DINING, PARK HOURS, WAIT TIME all included. Very good app.

Disney Mobile Magic - Disney's official app which was only available to Verizon users until now.

Disney World Wait Times by Undercover Tourist - Excellent app we use this all of the time.

Still researching best park apps but some of our favorites that we have on the ipad and iphone -

Disneyland - 2 year old loves this
Viggle - earn rewards checking into tv shows
Instagram
Air Video - this is one of my favorites ($2.99). Instead of using all your GB's up on loading 2 or 3 movies, this allows you to stream your videos from your computer. With 3 kids they all want different movies and it would eat up all my space. Simple setup and now they can access 100 movies we have on the computer.

THanks!! I just downloaded the beers and ears (my DH will LOVE this!!) and the transportation and parks music.

Netflix - a must have, especially if you travel a lot!

Ace Budget (MY FAVORITE) - Keeps me in track off my expenses so I don't overspend, and If I do, I can "deduct" it from my next month's "allowance"

Hipstamatic - My FAVORITE photo app, and only one I use. You have to buy the filters, flashes, and whatever else you want but its only .99 and worth it!

Streaks - Helps motivate my streak of "working out" or having "no soda"

SayHi - Fantastic translator, perfect for abroad!

Angry Birds,
Temple Run
Urban Spoon--shows places to eat
Around Me--not just for restaurants, all kinds of services.
Mouse Wait
Google
Trip Advisor
Mapquest
Waze
Hotels tonight

lose it - tracks calories, and food you eat
mapquest - I use this instead of a gps system now
around me - tells you businesses around you. Great for traveling
pulse - a news reader. I read my favorite blogs through it
hipstamatic - great photography app. My favorite
PS Express - quick edits on pictures on the phone
shazam - tells you any song playing on the radio
key ring - keeps track of your loyalty cards
And for a little destructive fun:
Action Movie - you make an 8 second movie, blowing up your favorite loved one.

I can't live without my Gas Buddy! :thumbsup2
You need to fill up? Just check Gas Buddy and it tells you the cheapest station near your location.
You can also check other areas.

I love my Sound Hound.
Free song recognition with scrolling lyrics! Awesome!

Cut The Rope is my current fav game.
I get sick of the games, delete and find a new one.
I only get the free ones. ;)

Anyone have an app they like to keep track of what's in your pantry?

Ah, a kindred spirit! :goodvibes

I am currently testing Grocery Gadget.

There's also Prep and Pantry, Supermarket Shopper/Groceries, and a slew of others.

Grocery Gadget and Prep and Pantry allow scanning of UPC codes, which is something that I searched for. Ideally I want to eventually keep track of even home frozen and home canned items, but commercial UPC codes are a good start.
