I won't be at MHP, but I look forward to immersing myself in the Halloween magic of the park. I am wondering what you like to see or do at Halloween time--what you find special at this time of year. I am thinking about things that are on the smaller scale--details you've noticed--little things you like to do. thanks so much!

Seeing the halloween tree in frontierland lit up at night. Getting pumpkin beignets from the mint julep bar, meeting jack and Sally and then riding haunted mansion holiday.

If you are at DL on a MHP day, sit near Town Square and watch the party guests enter during the early hours (3-6pm or 4-7pm). Some of the costumes and group ideas are amazing!

Given that it's the last year for Big Thunder Ranch, I would head over there and check out the decor that they have put up (if you check out the HalloweenTime Trip Report link in my Signature, you can see some photos from the Big Thunder Ranch).

I would also check out the Dia Del Muertos display near Rancho del Zocalo (opposite of the Halloween Tree that meggles mentioned). In terms of the tree, I would go see it both in day (to look at the pumpkins) and at night (to see it all lit up).

This year, I would also head over to the Grand Californian and check out the confectionery Spooky Tree. It's pretty amazing!

Where is this located in the Grand Californian?

Thanks--those are great suggestions! Are there any Halloween projections on IASW during non MHP evenings?

I don't know about IaSW for sure, but I didn't see any on the Castle or Main Street on non-MHP nights, so I'm inclined to guess that IaSW wouldn't have any either.
