mine are and not in order...
LOST BOYS
Psycho
The Shining
The Haunting
A nightmare on elm st
Amityville
Carrie
Cojo
Pet cemetery

These are some good ones! I'm not the spelling police or anything, but it was actually called Pet Sematary. It was purposely misspelled because we're to believe that the kids put the sign up. I love the little boy in that movie and boy did he do a great job!

Carrie can still give me the creeps too.

I think we own every one of these except the Lost Boys.

I'd add that the original Poltergeist was a great one too.

I didn't see Ringu, Jenny. I think I'm going to have to check into it. Thanks for the recommendation!

Ginger Snaps 1 & 3. 2 was alright, but the other two were better. The Thing is pretty cool, as is Aliens. I was also the one person who liked Blair Witch 2. :/

The Haunted with Aidan Quinn
The Others with Nicole Kidman
The Shining with Jack
The original Amityville Horror
The Haunting
Thinner
Legend of Sleepy Hallow
Castle of Blood
Rebeccah
The sixth sense
Session Nine
Children of the corn
The Omen
The Haunting
The Haunting of Hill House

I like the gothic ones :)
Not so much the slashers.

You are the ONLY person I've EVER "met" who's heard/seen Student Bodies which is so so so funny! It's sick and hysterical! I love it!

I love the Omen and I wouldn't have ever thought about Children of the Corn. That's another creepy one!!!

I love em all!

Confirmed horror movie addict here!!!!

Jenny- have you seen The Eye? I really liked that. How about Audition? I have it at home but haven't watched it yet. Ju-On scared the $%^& out of me the first time I saw it! I didn't really like Ringu too much though, maybe it was the mood I was in when I watched it. Asian horror is so much scarier than anything Hollywood has put out in a really long time.

Student Bodies is a classic, complete cheesey fun!

I love Hitchcock, he was the "master of suspense" not horror for a reason!

I don't think the Exorcist is scary, good movie, just not scary!!

I think I'll have to go with The Shining as my favorite, Jack is just awesome in that movie. Really creeped me out as a kid.

I thought The Others was completely boring.

Shaun of the Dead was great!

Not really a horror movie, but has anyone seen Bubba Ho-Tep with Bruce Campbell? It's a riot!! Bruce plays Elvis, who is actually alive and in a nursing home but is thought to be an Elvis impersonator. He befriends JFK (who is black now btw) and they defend the nursing home against a mummy.

I've seen the Eye a couple of times..I haven't seen the sequel either. Audition starts of really low but packs a punch towards the end. I really, realy liked Ju ON..Another good japanese movie is Suicide Club

:scared1: I love horror movies! The Shining still scares me even though I've seen it a dozen times. Thats my favorite. The runner ups, in no particular order, are
The Ring, Psycho, The Sixth Sense, The Exorcist and even though I'm embarrassed to admit it...Friday the 13th (the first one).

Jenny have you seen the other Ringu movies? There's supposed to be a sequel and a prequel and I don't know what else. I need to check them all out I guess. :)

Bubba Ho Tep was fun but then anything with Bruce Campbell is good. He's the man! :teeth:

The Blair Witch had a wonderful premise and some nice moments, if only that girl had shut up. I've always been scared of the woods at night though; I think that little else is as creepy.

When we saw this my husband was still under the impression that it was a "true story". We came out of the theater and he was just totally creeped out! I was :lmao: at him. I finally told him the whole "true story" thing was just a gimmick.

Oh, anyone seen Darkness? I thought that was really creepy. Ghost movies freak me out.

I haven't seen the sequel to The Eye yet either. I haven't been watching too many Asian movies lately. My husband absolutely refuses to watch subtitles so I have to watch them alone. I have heard A Tale of Two Sisters is really good, also the movie Pulse.

I used to spend a lot of time at creaturecorner.com, they recommended tons of movies and I was never disappointed. The guys that ran the site went to The Horror Channel website to run that so I've not really been up-to-date on the obscure movies recently.
