Favorite Fort thing ,

Been long time since this was asked,,so
What is your favorite thing or favorite thing to do at the Fort ?

I have a couple, one is, I love to watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks from the lake at the 300 loop,

Boat parade. Kinda the whole experience at the beach at night

#1 - I love going down to the beach at night to watch the water parade and get eatin' alive by skeeters! They won't get me this year - I'm packin'! Packin' lots of DEET and I'm not afraid to spray it!

#2 - looping in the golf cart

Thanks so much for starting this thread. I'm booking my 1st trip to the fort in a couple of weeks (for summer 2012!)

I'm sorry that I can't add anything to the thread yet but I'll be anxiously reading it. If anyone can wait 17 months I'll write down my favs.

1. After early morning breakfast, a golf cart ride to the marina, then catching the boat to the MK. Its a beautiful, calm, happy time. Why, its magical!

2. Hanging out at night; At our site in the secluded 1800 loop, looping all over, and just chilling at the beach.

3. HDDR. Great family fun, food and entertainment.

There is no place like the Fort!​

I love the atmosphere. It's quiet and relaxing. The boat ride at night to and from Magic Kingdom is AMAZING! Nothing beats the Fort!

I love watching Wishes from the beach at night!

Sitting with my son bundled up in a camp chair with some popcorn watching the outdoor movie is always a treat.

We like riding around the loops in a golf cart, checking out different rigs and seeing how people decorate their site.

Well it used to be hearing the horn from the boats at the marina, before they changed them.
The other is hearing the MK Train whistle when the breeze is just right.

the number one thing i love doing at the fort is hangin' with all the friends we have made. they are the best people you could ever meet. the fort is better with them there.

i heard the fish are bigger in October, frank!! i really think you guys need to join us for halloween this year.

One of things the DW and myself enjoy is sitting in the rocking chairs at Crockets Tavern and chatting with folks who walk by. Last time we were thier we met a couple from the next town over from were we live.

On arrival day after the site is set-up, grabbing a beer and relaxing under the awning, knowing we're at the Fort and vacation has begun!
