I just found out recently that I am NOT allergic to raspberries anymore!! YAY!! :woohoo:

I had gone to an allergist for my seasonal allergies, after bringing my son to him for his shellfish allergy testing (which was positive), and I also told him about how I ate fresh raspberries at my cousin's wedding when I was 11 years old (in 1988) and I broke out into a bad case of hives. I had avoided raspberries ever since, because it was the only new food I had eaten. He told me that while there is a standard test for strawberry allergy, the one for raspberries would have to be specially ordered. He asked me if I ever eat strawberries, and I told him I eat them all the time (my favorite fruit!). He said I should try one whole raspberry and see how I am. He had a feeling I had outgrown the allergy, or at least that there was a very good chance. So I tried a raspberry. And I did something stupid (I say that because it could have ended in disaster)...I ate 6 more because they tasted so darn good!! And nothing happened. I have since been trying all different things with raspberry and loving it! I love raspberry yogurt, raspberry lemonade, rainbow cookies, etc.!!

OK, so tell me the best foods and drinks you have had at WDW with raspberry! I already plan to try a Pina Colava at the Boardwalk Pool Bar (staying at BWV so I will be visiting there quite often). Here are the TS restaurants we are going to:

1. Chef Mickey's dinner
2. Sci-Fi lunch
3. Whispering Canyon Cafe dinner
4. Cinderella's Royal Table dinner
5. Akershus lunch
6. 1900 park Fare breakfast
7. Cape May Cafe dinner
8. San Angel Inn lunch
9. Le Cellier dinner
10. 50s Prime Time lunch
11. Captain's Grille dinner
12. Beaches & Cream lunch (most likely)
13. Kona Cafe dinner
14. Liberty Tree Tavern lunch (may be changing to Plaza, not sure yet)
15. Crystal Palace dinner
16. Chefs de France lunch
17. Biergarten dinner
18. Cape May Cafe breakfast

Those are all the TS meals we have planned for our 10-night trip in July. We also plan to eat around the world at Epcot in the evening, on the same day we go to Akershus lunch (I have no TS dinner scheduled that night). We will also have one CS lunch at MK, one CS lunch on our arrival day (probably Earl of Sandwich) and we will probably be snacking at least a little! Or maybe even not order dessert at a restaurant in Epcot if there is something really good at the Bakery in France, for example.

Thanks everyone!

You're on the right track with your drink choice:cutie:Raspberries are going to be mostly in desserts and drinks around the World. Get on allearsnet.com and look over the menus concentrating on the CS and drink stations. Any pastry bar and beverage station menu items will probably yield you at least one choice. I can say we had a raspberry in our champagne at Tutto's last summer:lovestrucJust don't overdo your consumption or you could trigger the reactions again;)

Thanks! I have looked over the menus on All Ears. Just wanted to see which items are the best ones! Looking more for opinions. I am not overdoing it. I still get a little nervous when I eat or drink anything with raspberry. But so far, so good! It's nice to be able to do little things, like have a dessert that comes with a drizzle of raspberry sauce, without having to ask them to omit it! I also love raspberry vinaigrette on salads now!

When eating around the world, if you stop at the bakery in France (Boulangerie Patisserie) they have raspberry shuss. It's a lighter version of cheesecake with a thick raspberry sauce on top - OMG YUM!!!
