favorite food you remember

I loved the butternut squash soup at AP - remembered it so fondly from our cruise last year and was thrilled that it was on this year's menu! Loved it so much I asked my server for another bowl which she gladly brought out!
Ate both bowls!!

I also loved the cold melon soup at the lunch buffet at Beach Blanket - I remarked that I could have taken it in a glass with a straw! Yum!

And oddly enough - I am not a soup person!

Mickeyhugger, you said it: the stollen with with jam, berries
and the whipped cream. That is all i needed for the entire
brunch but forced myself to eat everything else. I felt very ill
when I came out of that brunch (from eating too much!).
The chocolate souffle in the evening wasn't bad either......

I forgot one more thing it's on the childrens menu it is chicken noodle soup with mickey shape pasta

The calamari appetizer and chocolate dessert at Palo! Hopefully next cruise will be the Magic and I'll have even more days to decide on a favorite!

Now I'm hungy - darn that South Beach diet - I'm also awaiting the answer on how much weight people gain on the 7-day!

lost 2 pounds on our 7 Western last May

you can't count Palo's everything is so "Excellent" there

I would go with the Mixed Grill in Parrot Cay

but my favorite two items they no longer offer,
are the sushi appetizer at Animators
and the Vegetarian Stack at Tritons

Shrimp on embarkation day
or
Lobster on Castaway Cay
or
Banana bread at Parrot Cay
or
or
or
or
sorry cannot make a decision.

I didnt think I would care for it much since Im not a huge lamb fan, but the herb crusted lamb chop at AP was delicious. After eating several bites of my husbands our server finaly brought me my own. :p

I totally agree!! I, too, was not a lamb fan until I tasted this dish. Recently I found a recipe very similar to the Palo recipe and even my kids love it!!

All the food was wonderful. Desserts especially!! Our waiter always brought extras. It is hard to single out one. They were all sooo good.
I also love the fresh pineapple and other fruit you could get just about everywhere on board.

That Portabella Mushroom appetizer at Palo is TO DIE FOR! Oh and I love the Eggs Benedict at Lumieres too!

loved the lemon meringue pie.
Also the vegetarian struddle and blue cheese risotto.
Sun-dried tomato salad at palo

You guys are making it so hard to wait until November! Especially mentioning that lemon meringue pie! The only thing I like better than lemon meringue pie is lemon meringue pie with a side of key lime pie! :teeth:

I agree about the butternut squash soup. Even the simple Chocolate Chip cookies were great. Must be the sea air!
