:tinker: We just made our ADR for Kona's! We have never eaten there before and are wondering what are everybody's favorite meals there? Favorite desserts? We will be eating there on Dec. 13... can't wait!:sulley: :goofy: :donald:

Crab cakes for appetizer. The Beef Teriyaki filet cooked medium for dinner. White chocolate cheesecake for dessert.

YUMMY!!!!!!!

Beef Teriyaki!!! We get it every time we are there! SO YUMMY! The sticky wings are yummy too and pretty much ALL of the desserts are delicious.

Char-crusted filet. Hands down. Now that I think about it... they never did send me the recipe for the sauce :(

I really like the coconut almond chicken. The crab cakes for an appetizer were also great.
DD had the steak when we went recently and said it was wonderful.

You guys are killing me with all of your answers. I loved Kona last year Op. I don't know why I am skipping it to try spoodles for the first time. I want it back now. I never tried that coconut almond chicken. Oh, and those yummy crabcakes. Is it to late to change to Kona.:lmao:

Everything!

We were a party of 6 adults, all on the DDP, and tried just about everything on the menu and loved everything. Best meal of the week, really. The crab cakes were my favorite appetizer but the wings were delicious too. I had the macadamia encrusted tilapia (I think?) and it was delicious. The steak was great, shrimp pasta was great, it was really all good.

We are planning a trip Christmas of 2008 and I told DH I would be fine if we ate at Kona everynight we are there..LOL It is sooooooo good!!!

Well, I just got off with Disney Dining. I cannot believe I was able to switch to Kona Cafe, from spoodles. At a decent dinner time also 6:25 Oh OP. Thank you for this thread. I rather go back to Kona anyway!!

Everything! We all loved our meals when we ate there in November!

My husband and I ate there on the first night of our honeymoon in April and my parents and I will be eating there our first night in August! My husband loved the beef teriyaki and I loved the filet mignon because it came with asparagus and a mushroom sauce. For dessert, he like the apple brown betty and I loooooved the banana caramel creme brulee! I hope you enjoy your dinner!

Or is that no longer allowed? I've never been to Kona, we'll be trying it in Sept!

Crab cakes definitely as a starter. Yum yum.
I love, Love, LOVE the beef teriyaki. It was probably one of the best steaks I've ever had on Disney property. (The shrimp and scallops being my second fav dinner here)
For dessert I choose the white chocolate cheesecake.
This is definitely one of my top WDW restaurants, and I'd recommend it to anyone... for breakfast or dinner (never had lunch there yet :p)

POt stickers, shrimp and scallops and banana creme brulee (the best brulee in all of the world!)

However on allears.net the brulee is no longer on the menu, I'm hoping it is a typing error.

I was just there on Monday night- the brulee is still on the menu!. The meal was fabulous. The Hawaiian bread with the macadamia butter was so good. My DS7 asked for more and said it was some of the best bread he had ever had.

We will be eating here for the first time in September and now I am really looking forward to it!! The food looks and sounds great!

WOW, this place sounds incredible, I have a ressie for dinner at Ohana's now I am wondering if I should change to Kona, does anyone have an opinion on which place is better, wow that foods looks so YUMMY!!! What should I do....AAAGGGHHH!!!!
