Favorite food at Boma's??

The potato bacon soup was very yummy.
The prime rib was also great.
I liked the grapefruit/avocado/papaya salad and I loved the cilantro vinagrette over the mixed greens. Thats about all I ate.

I didnt care for any of the desserts. I got a plate of everything and told DH "I hate to say it but the best dessert is the sugar cookies"LOL
Until Chef TJ brought out the deep fried Oreos. OMG-delish

Couldn't agree more with this statement, but then again I never really find good desserts at a buffet. Now those oreo's sound great, how do I get them to bring me some?

I've only been for breakfast, but everything was delish.

I LOVE the carrot-ginger soup. My other must-haves are the salmon and the coconut rice. (But I have gone and had only the soup...many bowls of the soup!) DH loves the BBQ ribs. (We only go on Wednesday or Saturday when they have our favs.)

There are too many to have only one favorite! Other Disney restaurants may dissappoint, but Boma NEVER has let us down!

My favorites are the Durban Spiced Chicken (smokey taste) with the peanutbutter rice or coconut rice and the grilled veggies. All the salads are yummy and the chef told us to mix the crab soup with the coconut curry soup and it is just amazing. Also the coconut pudding and banana cannoli. This has been a must do for our family for the last 4 years.

Boma is our favorite restaurant at WDW. We love almost everything at the buffet but the soups are delicious beyond words.

Chef TJ also served us his deep fried Oreos, yummy. And on another occasion brought us shrimp skewers,and spare ribs with fried Asian Noodles, WOW!

What a great thread, can't wait for our next meal at Boma in January.
