Favorite Flip Flops??

I do like Fit Flops for "around town" but personallly wouldn't wear them all day at the parks, but that's just me....they have really cute black Mickey Fit Flops at WDW!

Has anyone tested out Fit Flops?

I've got foot and knee problems and I get blisters easy :sad1:

I've been wearing Flojos and while they're very comfortable for short periods of time, they just don't have enough arch support.

I just got a pair of FitFlops yesterday. I'll post a review once I've had a chance to really try them out. I am hoping they will be good WDW shoes.

Try Chacos, I bought a pair a month ago and love them!!! I sent the first pair back because they were to small. The ones I ordered next were Men's and a smooth foot bed. I was hesitant about the smooth foot bed because I thought the would turn deadly if I got them wet. I am happy to report your heels do not move at all puddle after puddle!!! My Reefs which I swore by for years have been replaced!!! They are expensive and have a bit of a break in period, about two weeks but trust me totally worth it!!!! I mean the flip flops not the strappy sandals....

I got some Crocs sandals recently and LOVE them! They're not flip flops...more sandals, but I can't stand having something between my toes for long periods of time. lol! They're the Crocs Adara sandals. I'd post a link but my post count isn't high enough. :) I've never owned a pair of Crocs before, but I have worn them non stop for about a month and my feet feel wonderful. I bought them, specifically, for Disney World. I hope they do me as good as I'm thinking they will.

Crocs Capris Canvas!!!!! Love the black and white ones!!!:goodvibes I also still love my sneakers in the parks too!

We're going to Disney in August and I've been looking for different shoes. About 2 weeks ago I got plantar fasciitis in my foot (heel pain due to lack of arch support) because of my flip flops. Any suggestions of sandals that would work in Disney? I saw online that Chacos have good arch/heel support -- would owners of these sandals agree? Thanks!

I too have developed a problem with plantar faciitis. I've been fighting it since November and we'll be at WDW the end of September. I've been trying to figure out what type of sandals/shoes to wear. I've looked at the many different types of sandals but can't decide what to go for. Anyone with this problem and any suggestions??

I would agree that Chacos have great arch support. The whole reason I bought them. I posted a while back about them. I had to order a men's the second time around. I got my chaco flops from zappos and they are great with returns. I live in them now it was about a 2 week break in period for me but i live in them now!!!

I had terrible P.F. as well, and had to totally change my footwear. I got myself a pair of Chacos, and I have been hooked ever since. They are by FAR the best sandals I've ever owned - they are expensive, but they wear like iron. I wore out that pair after about four years (I lived in NC - I wore them year 'round just about, nearly every day), and now have two pair of the Z/2's that I rotate between. They are washable, they are infinitely adjustable, and non-marking/non-skid. If they get wet, they never chafe and dry in moments --- they also won't get that funk smell that so many sandals get after they've gotten wet. I've white watered, creek walked, generally hiked and gone all over Disney in them... no other sandal compares for me.

I have Dansko sandals - they are good for work, they don't work for me for TONS of walking.

I have tried Merrells - they work REALLY well for some people, but they arch is no where near enough for me.

I've had Tevas, but I found they wore out more quickly than my Chacos (it's like the footbed gave in or something).

Also! I do have a pair of Fit Flops - the canvasie stripie ones. I do love them for running around town, around the house, even to work on casual days, but I don't think I'd dare a full Disney day with them. They do mold pretty nicely to the foot, tho, creating a decent arch.

There! That's my 2 cents! :thumbsup2

Oh! And one word of caution about ordering Men's sandals for the ladies --- good men's shoes actually have the arch in a different place than women's shoes, since the physiology of their feet is different (different center of gravity, etc). If regular Chaco's are too narrow, they do make wide in nearly all their varieties.

AND - I have a pair of the Chaco's shoes, like a sneaker-ie-sort-of-business-but-brown, and I LOVE them. Fabulous shoe.

OMG! HILARIOUS!!! :rotfl2:

I have the Z/2 Unaweep sole.... my Mom has the ZX/2's (with the double strapping) and while I love the way they look, she has struggled getting the double straps to fit just right. I've read on here tho, that other folks have the double straps and LOVE them.

I'm wearing my brown ones RIGHT NOW!!! :dance3:

DOESN'T THAT JUST FIGURE???

I just noticed that the ZX/2's are on pretty big sale right now --- $32 off A PAIR. This may cause me to have to try a pair.... must. resist.... can't. resist....

Chaco's are truly the best shoe. My feet never hurt. When I get up in the morning i put on my chaco's instead of house shoes. That is how good they make my feet feel. :cool1:

Ok....looking at the Chacos, can you tell me about how they fit? If you normally wear a size 6 are they sized the same? I see the Uniaweep, the railroad, the z/2, the z/1. Oh I'm so confused!!!! Ladies?
