Favorite Fireworks spots?

Looking to hear your favorite spot and tips for watching the MK fireworks, Fantasmic and River of Lights, also how early in advance to arrive (mid-May). Thanks!

We found a new favorite for pure fireworks at MK last week. No projections, only fireworks.

Stand on the bridge just past entrance to BOG but before Gaston's. It's the most perfect spot to catch just the fireworks. You have a clear view of both Cinderella Castle and beast Castle and can see the bursts over the top of each.

For MK fireworks if you are not wanting to watch the castle projection part ( like you have already seen it before). One of the best spots that is not crowded at all is by Ariel's grotto. Amazing view of fireworks and not having to deal with the rudeness that ensues people in a large crowd who have waited for the fireworks. We happened to be back there a couple years ago when they started and it was amazing. But if you have never seen the castle projection part you will want to find a spot near the hub at the very least an hour/hour and a half before start time. And don't be surprised by losing your area when last minute straglers show up right in front of you. But the castle projection bit is amazing as well so long as you can see it!
