favorite dvc holiday decorations

We are planning to go to Disney in Dec 2004. we will book at our home resort BCV at the 11 month window to be safe. Did anyone stay at the BCVs last December and how was the holiday Decor.


At the 7 month window we were thinking of trying to change to the WLVs. What resort is your favorite in December and why???

Haven't seen'em all yet.... but VWL is definately my fav so far!

The huge tree in the lobby, the rustic feel of the resort, the huge fireplace. Ahhhh. Can't wait for our TG trip!

We were at Disney throughout the holidays last year and, although I don't fully recall the decorations on the tree at BCV, I remember it was very pretty and I think it had something like sandpails, shells on it. In the Beach Club lobby a chocolate merry go round was set up...BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!

My favorite are the Santa hats on the dolphins at OKW. Sadly I don't remember them the last time we were there in Dec.

Actually, I liked the decorations at Boardwalk better than those at the Wilderness. Both are wonderful. All resorts are great. (I really like the aluminum trees at the contemporary, the Santa hats on the Dolphins at OKW and I could go on and on). All parks and the Marketplace are also memorable. Right now I’d like to get back to WDW for Christmas.

WLV hands down! As timc said, the rustic feel, the hugh fireplace, the trees, even though it's usually not very cold in FL at Christmas time, it just puts you in the mood!

both WL/VWL are great!!!

yes BWV is pretty - but I really love WL. Also if you have the time go see the GF.

I saw the BC part it was cute - but I liked the YC a little better.

We've stayed at both BW and WL at Christmas. And while BW
is beautiful at christmas WL beats it by far. I just wish they offered standard view rates.
