Favorite Disney Song! C'mon, you know you want to reply!

Ever??
Tough, since Disney had so many fine songs, especially during the early years. My favorites list would be a long one--.

My all time favorite is probably "A DREAM IS A WISH YOUR HEART MAKES" from Cinderella. I think Ilene Woods had the best voice of all the Disney movie singers, past or present.

My favorites are: "A Wish is a Dream Your Heart Makes", "Baby Mine", "Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow", "It's a Small World", "Color of the Wind" and "Yo Ho Ho a Pirates Life for Me". I love them!:D

Like so many my favorite song is from Tapestry of Dreams, in my household we so lovingly refer to it as the "Way La" song.

I don't have a favorite song... but I have favorite PHRASES from the parks haha. Examples:

Now approaching... Space Mountain!

Please steer clear of the doors.... Por favor montenga yadayadayada (I don't speak spanish haha)

Beware hitch-hiking ghosts!

Oh wait, I lied, I do like the music at MGM that plays in the background, usually it's great scores from movies like Gone With the Wind and Indiana Jones and Casablanca. :teeth:

Hey, I'm back! And once again, I am complety phyced at the attention this thread is getting. It's so cool!:teeth: Hey, I just remembered something that I wanted to share here. Disney songs seem to be the best way to get a baby to sleep, right? I say this because one time, I had to baby-sit my 4-month old cousin and the second her mom left, she just started to have a tantrum. Nothing seemed to work until my mom, brother, and I just started to sing Bibidi Babidi Boo to her and she was out like a light! Unfourtunatly she was never completly asleep because the second we would stop sleeping she would open her eyes a bit and got those tears ready until we sang again. So from that little experience, I learned 2 things; The first being that after singing the first verse of a song over and over again sure makes you wish that you knew the rest. And the second would be that when in doubt, a Disney song should get that baby to quiet down.:cutie:

C-ya Later!

Got to be "Zip-a-dee-doo-da" from the Song of the South" or Splash Mountain. "mr bluebird's on my shoulder, it's the truth, it's actual..." well, you know it already.:teacher:

"When You Wish Upon a Star" all time favorite Disney song (and little DD does her ice skating routine to it)

"Part of Your World" (older DD does her ice skating routine to it).

The opening music to Spectromagic, and Share a Dream Parade.

Just thinking of these tunes brings a smile to my face. Seven weeks and we'll hear them in person!:Pinkbounc

I'm a music teacher and we just had our winter concerts in January.. This year I did a dinsey theme! It was AWESOME!!! My favorite "When You WIsh Upon a Star"... DD's (2 1/2) loves Any Disney song I Play in the car!

Carousel of Progress SONG

Hakuna Matata- Sp? Gaston, You can learn alot of things from the Flowers (Alice)

There's a great big beautiful tommorow...

Shining at the end of every day
There's a great big beautiful tommorow
Just a dream away!

Man has a dream, and that's the start
He follows his dream though mind and heart
And when it becomes a reality
It's a dream come true for you and me!

Oh there's a great big beautiful tommorow
Shining at the end of every day
There's a great big beautiful tommorow
Just a dream awaaaaaaay!!!

I knew that you were going to say that!:teeth:

Love Ya!

Our all time favorite is the music from Spectromagic. We first saw it when our children were little, and our most recent trip was this Christmas (and our "children" are 19, 22 and 24 and still vacationed with us). That music chokes all of us up because it represents some of the best times of our lives together. Whenever we hear it we remember being together, enjoying each other and being at the most magical place on earth. In fact, I'm instant messaging my youngest (19) at college now and we're reliving it while trying to remember the lyrics - here's what we came up with:

On this Magic Night
A million stars will play beside us
Cast a spell of light
Glimmering, shimmering, carouseling
Round the world tonight
A symphony in spectromagic
Pure enchantment lights our way

"You'll Be In My Heart" from Tarzan. This song always reminds me of my daughter since this was one of the first songs she learned from hearing it on the radio.

Mickeymule, What is the name of the cd that you have with "How do you do" on it? I must get it!
