Favorite Deluxe Resort and why

I think ours is AKL. I think I would really like GF if I gave it a try. The cost to stay there is hard to justify though. We will be staying one night at BWV on our next trip before we head to AKV. We have decided to start renting points to these DVC resorts because it's cheaper and more bang for the buck than booking a hotel room. That being said, I'll wait for GF to open up their DVC and try that out.

Here's my order of the places we have stayed:

Poly
Boardwalk
GF
AKL
CR
Kidani

DH says his favorite is GF and DS says his is AKL, so there's not even consensus here in our household.

I would stay at any of them again. Don't think you can go wrong with Disney Deluxe resorts.

Wilderness Lodge for theme, atmosphere, food, locale to MK. GF runs a close second. Poly's rooms are nice and the grounds are beautiful, but the resort is in bad need of being cleaned up (which I hear it soon will be). No resort at that price point should have the amount of cobwebs and dirt on the windows.

It's a toss up for me between the Beach club and the WL. I absolutely love the location of the BC, the pool can't be beat and the decor is wonderful. WL is a close second. best themeing on site.

Although I love staying on the Boardwalk, I don't like any of the rooms at BC or BW.

I am most at home at Kidani with the Okapis and Sanaa. I like the large balconies the three bathrooms in the 2 BR villas or the 2 bathrooms in the 1BR. I love that the Animal Kingdom Lodge is close by and the African Art on display is mesmerizing. I like the fires in the evening.

I like only having 2 bus stops in the resort and parking under the building is fantastic.

I will be at Kidani two more times this year.

We have only stayed at WL, Poly and AKL. Hoping to stay at Boardwalk or Beach Club next trip! We love WL so much. That would be our favorite.
