Favorite Deluxe Resort and why

We have stayed WL, AKL, OKW, YC and BWI. BWI is our favorite, next up the Poly so our favorite may be changeing.

Love walking to gf for dinner or tea or ttc to jump on monorail to Epcot.

We've stayed at the Grand Floridian, Polynesian, Beach Club and Yacht Club.
While we loved them all, in order of preference:

1. Beach Club
2. Yacht Club
3. Polynesian
4. Grand Floridian

We love SAB, love being able to walk or water taxi to both EPCOT and DHS. We love to walk over to EPCOT for dinner. One of the things that really puts BC to the top for us are the friendliest CMs in town!

We've stayed at the GF, the Poly, AkL, and WL. We love the GF the most. It is so beautiful and gracious. The CMs are amazing and you can't beat the location. Our second favorite is AKL. We love the savannah and the restaurants.

Contemporary is my favorite...it just feels more like an upscale hotel, Poly was nice but the outside of the buidings just did not scream deluxe resort to me, but they could have refurbed them, it has been 8 years since we stayed there.

I also like the calmness I get from the new decor at CR...do not like the brown wallpaper in Poly...just not my taste. AKL was way too dark for me, but loved the main building!

we loved the Poly- view of castle from beach, over all feel of the resort, tiki torches at night, restaurants etc...CR surprised us, monoraiil going though is magical for kids, view of magic kingdom, electric water parade, fireworks. We have never had a bad stay. Love the walk in to Epcot from Epcot resorts!

We’ve stayed at the BC, BCV, BWV, Old Key West, & Bay Lake Tower. Our favorite is the Beach Club! We love the décor and the ambiance of the resort, not to mention its close proximity to Epcot and HS!

I have two actually:

The Poly and Animal Kingdom Lodge

AKL has the animals, which I could watch all day.

I love the Poly for the Hawaiian feeling.

While I grew up staying at Poly I haven't stayed there in years so I'm not sure I can be fair about it being my favorite. That being said I have been fortunate to stay at many and my top choice as of late is SSR. The rooms are spacious, the grounds beautiful, the staff was the best I've come across and I loved being so close to DTD for not only shopping but bus transfers. I really enjoy my hotel as part of my vacation and this one was so peaceful and lovely. I felt as though I was really able to escape the park craziness and relax.

The Grand Floridian is our favorite. It is so beautiful and the CMs are wonderful. We have stayed at the Polynesian and at Wilderness Lodge and while we enjoyed them both, it's back to the Grand Floridian this August!

Different resorts for different reasons...Christmas is WL hands down, if we are going to just hang out at the resort it's BC or AKL, if we plan on doing parks it's CR/BLT.

We love the Boardwalk and the Poly! Best locations and beautiful resorts with special nuances about both!
