Were heading to the World in January and I was just wondering what peoples favorite CS/Snack places are. It can be anywhere, we have the hopper and are there 6 days on the DDP. We like all types of food so you don't have to just stick with the basic american fare..curious to try some items I have never eaten at WDW on this trip. Looking forward to your feedback :thumbsup2

Here's some of the CS that I like.

Animal Kingdom: Yak & Yeti™ Local Foods Café
Hollywood Studios: Starring Rolls
EPCOT: Sommerfest
Magic Kingdom: Columbia Harbour House

I like others as well, but if I had to pick just one at each park, that would be my list.

Magic Kingdom: Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe.

Epcot: Sunshine Seasons & Electric Umbrella.

Hollywood Studios: ABC Commissary & Backlot Express.

Animal Kingdom :Flame Tree BBQ & Pizza Fari.

Downtown Disney Marketplace: Earl of Sandwhich.

Contemporary: Contempo Cafe.

Boardwalk Inn/Boardwalk Villas: Boardwalk Bakery, Boardwalk Pizza Window & Boardwalk To Go.

Our family's favorite CS places would have to be:

MK: We really enjoyed Golden Oak Outpost on our last trip, but I hear they've dropped the chicken sandwiches that were so good. We also like Cosmic Ray's and Pecos Bill's - both have a good wrap sandwich that is a nice change from a burger.

Epcot: We always eat at Sunshine Seasons in The Land. I like the rotisserie pork chop with either mashed potatoes or seasoned rice.

DHS: The CS options here leave a lot to be desired, but we usually wind up at Backlot Express.

AK: Flame Tree BBQ or Pizzafari.

Snack spots:

MK: I particularly like the cafe by the Hall of Presidents. They have baked potatoes, fruit, chips and other items and there are tables to sit while you have a little rest. Aloha Isle is popular here on the DIS for their Dole Whips, but I like the orange/vanilla creamsicle ice better.

Epcot: The caramel store in Germany. Caramel popcorn :)

DHS/AK: We spend less time at these parks so we don't typically snack much, except for maybe a box of popcorn or Mickey ice cream.

Animal Kingdom: We have heard such great things about Flame Tree BBQ and are really looking forward to eating there on our upcoming trip (it was closed for refurb the last time we were there). Also really enjoy Restaurantosaurus (for the toppings bar!) and Pizzafari (for the theming).

Epcot: Many people like Sunshine Seasons but I wasn't a fan. But, most of the CS places in World Showcase are pretty yum!

Magic Kingdom: Pecos Bill (again, love the toppings bar!)

Hollywood Studios: Starring Rolls (the cupcakes are amazing)

DTD: Earl of Sandwich is probably our FAVORITE CS in all of WDW! Can't wait to eat there in a few short days!!

Favorite CS:

Magic Kingdom: Columbia Harbour House and Cosmic Ray's

Epcot-Tangierine Cafe (this is DH's and my favorite CS in all of WDW!) And we also are not fans of the much-hyped Sunshine Seasons. We didn't like it a whole lot.

DHS: Starring Rolls

DAK: Flame Tree Barbeque

DTD: Wolfgang Puck Express

Favorite snacks:

Magic Kingdom: Aloha Isle for the Dole Whip! Also the Main Street Bakery!

Epcot: Kringla Bakery in Norway for the School Bread! To DIE for!

The pineapple dole whips when you first enter adventure land are amazing! I get one every time I go...My favorite way they serve it is with pineapple/vanilla swirl and pineapple juice. Yum!

My DS11's favorite snack of all time is the sweet cream cheese pretzels at The Lunching Pad in Tomorrow Land. I think on our last trip he had at least 2-3 per day! Since we were staying at VWL, even on non-MK days, he would want to go get one. He didn't even want to share with me, his dear mom! Now, DD18's favorite are the churros in Mexico along with the frozen lemonade in Animal Kingdom. As you can see we find a favorite in about every park.

Hmmm, best QS eateries?
In our opinion . . .
. . . Epcot-FW: Sunshine Seasons (maybe the best QS in WDW)
. . . Epcot-WS: Yorkshire Fish anbd Chips
. . . MK: Columbia House
. . . AK: Flame Tree (good ribs)
. . . DHS: Backlot Epress
. . . DTD: Earl of Sandwich
. . . BB: Lottawatta Lodge
. . . TL: Typhoon Tilly's
. . . Deluxe Resorts: Capt Cook's at Poly
. . . Moderate Resorts: Sassagoula Flatworks at POFQ
. . . Value Resorts: Intermission at ASSMo

NOTE: We are not ranking QS eateries. Our fav's are Sunshine Seasons
and Flame Tree's ribs. We are simply listing better QS eateries.
