Favorite Crew Member?

Who was your favorite crew member on the Magic? I loved John...he was so much fun....I also enjoyed Ian and Sean...are they still on the ship....I STLL MISS THE MAGIC...booked for next summer.....how about U?

We had Erika at Palo's in May 2001 on our Eastern Cruise she was great! When we took our June 2002 Western cruise we specifically asked for her and unfortunately she was on vacation! Just our luck! We did see her in the photo that is on the reservation desk just inside Palo's. We had excellent service both cruises. Maybe it was the fact that Erika brought me two chocolate Souffles for dessert that endeared her to me? LOL

We also really enjoyed meeting Rico at Guest Services, he was really helpful during our cruise. Our cabin steward, Chumpol was excellent too. The ships photographer, Lindsay was really great and we had fun partying and dancing with her at the 80's party in Rock'in Bar-D.

Ian and John were great. Talk about a couple of hard working people.

Our server, Erasmo, was fantastic. Every suggestion he made was right on. He even warned us what was "not so good".

No one has mentioned Capt. Tom. Is it just me, or does he seem to be a bit shy. Whenever he talked, it seemed that he just said as little as he could. I don't think he was rude, I just kinda got the feeling he was not comfortable speaking in public.

Hmmm. <a href="http://www.primateprojections.com/travel/DCL/people/captom.jpg">Captain Tom</A> is actually my favorite captain. We've spoken at length on a few occasions. I think <a href="http://www.primateprojections.com/travel/ctf.jpg">Captain Tom</A> perhaps likes to observe people before opening up to them. That's understandable considering the variety and volume of guests he encounters, and that he never knows <I>what</I> they're going to say - compliments, complaints, etc. I guess he <I>is</I> more "reserved," but I admire that.

Sasha from Croatia is actually my favorite, too! Or Jeff from Canada but they were both on the Wonder when I was there last Feb.
They are all so FUN!!!

Who is my favorite CM? JULIANO from Croatia -- our most favorite server from the Magic! Very helpful with dinner recommendations and the choices are always right on the money - delicious! Very cheerful and very nice.

Been on the Magic twice, with Juliano as server both times (7/01 & 6/02). Looking forward to seeing Juliano next June (hopefully he'll renew his contract!)

Absolutely, without question, our favorite crew member is Vlado from Croatia. When we cruised on the Magic last week, he was our server in Palo. Two years ago, he was our dining room server.

When we saw him (or, more accurately) when he saw us at Palo, it was like running into a long-lost friend. He walked up behind us and said, "Remember me?" I was amazed that after two years he recognized us! It was absolutely the best Disney "magic" of our entire trip to renew a friendship.

We made a point to visit with him several times during the cruise, and we're planning next year's cruise around his schedule to make sure we can have another "reunion."

i know this is a magic post, but there was one CM on our wonder cruise who was so spectacular i really really really would like to include him here....i hope that's ok...

MY WIFE AND I WERE ON OUR HONEYMOON ON THE 8/31 MAGIC AND THERE LOTS OF WONDERFUL CM'S. WE WERE SEATED FOR DINNER WITH 2 OTHER COUPLES WHO WERE ON THERE HONEYMOONS ALSO. IT WAS ALOT OF FUN. OUR SERVERS WERE ALEXSANDRIA FROM HOLLAND AND LEK FROM THAILAND. THEY WERE GREAT AND ALL THE FOOD WE WANTED WE RECIEVED AND GAINED ALOT OF WEIGHT BECAUSE OF IT. SINCE WE WERE ON OUR HONEYMOON IT SEEMED AS IF WE WERE PICKED TO DO ALOT OF STUFF IN THE DANCE CLUBS AND SHOWS, THANKS TO MY JUMPING UP AND DOWN WIFE. IT WAS ALOT OF FUN WITH CAST MEMBERS IAN, JOHN, ELLEN AND SEAN. THEY ARE ALL WONDERFUL AND IT SEEMED LIKE THEY NEVER SLEPT A WINK.

I agree about the dance club cast members. They were EVERYWHERE on the ship. We were wondering how many hours a week they work! Are they (John, Ian, Sean) still sailing? Is there anyway to find out if they'll be back next summer?

ok since i'm a teen i'd have to say my favorite cm was Shannon from Canada who worked at common grounds. she was great and hopefully if i get the grades to go on the magic this summer she'll have renewed her contract and will still work there.
