What is your favorite country in World Showcase? Why? What do you feel makes that country stand out amongst the others?

My DH & I has the best experience/meal in Mexico, 15 years ago while on our honeymoon. I can't wait to go back with our 2 DK. Less then a week now! :rotfl:

We seem like Mexico the most. While some people don't like the San Angel Inn we have always enjoyed dinner there at least once on every trip.

I think it's just the atmosphere inside that make it our favorite choice.

It's a tough one for me. I love the theming and the food at Mexico. And my daughter loves the ride. So that is the one I voted for.

However, since my DW is from Sweden, we have a special place in our hearts for Norway. We know it isn't Sweden, but all of the Scandinavian countries have to stick together. We can usually talk to the CM's there, since Swedish and Norwegian is somewhat close. Also, I dig the Maelstrom ride as well. :teeth:

I like Japan. I'm fascinated by the culture. The stores are cool, the restaurants are adequate (to be honest, some places here are better than WDW), and the little museum space has consistently good exhibits.

You know, I thought I had a "favorite" but now that I thinkk about it I really like most all of them.

Mexico - love the boat ride! Love the "outdoor" shopping area & the volcano.
Norway - kids like the boat ride, the shopping, trolls, the church
Japan - love the drummers, the culturem shopping
China - also the culture, art, food, acrobats, the all around movie is great
Canada - one thing...Le Cellier!!! yummy!
Germany - shopping, Beirgarten, the clock, the beer
England - I love the tea shop & the toy shop where you can see Pooh or MP
Italy - love the music, the costumed characters from "Venice"
France - oh the pastry shop!!!!
America - of course has my favorite show...American Adventure with Ben Franklin & Mark Twain
Morocco - never eaten there but I like the small area you can walk in with the tile work & hand crafted items...

Ok I just love all of EPCOT WS.

 This was really hard... but I voted for Germany because the "courtyard" area in front has such a festive feel, and I love the fountain...and the Biergarten!

Only 1 huh?
I went Morocco because I love that you can really get lost wandering around the back and it is so beautifully done.
But a close second for me was Canada because I walk up those steps and really feel like I am in Canada and not Florida even when it is 100 degrees outside.
I wasn't talking just food I went for overall experience.
But I have to admit that my DS LOVES the Japan pavillion- nothing to do with his vast Pokemon collection or the tin toy show they had the last time we were there!
And yes Mexico is great- but I didn't vote that one because I think they cheated by doing it all indoors- the bird outside doesn't count for me as themeing.
Oh and England is so fun the stores and the CM's here are soooo friendly
And how could I forget France. At night that is the most beautiful place to sit - by the water and listen to the music they pipe in with a glass of wine...... oh why why only one!

I chose Mexcio because it has a great atmosphere inside. Can't be beat. I also really like El Rio De Tiempo. It's so relaxing.

I like France the best. The movie is so beautiful (and you get to sit!), the patisserie boulangerie has wonderful treats, I love the kir royales from the outside wine stand, the wine shop is cute and has some good buys, and I love (and spend way too much money in) the shop with all the cookbooks and table linens. Plus, I have had some enjoyable meals at the restaurants there. The only thing I would change would be to remove the perfume shop. I hate perfume. Vive le France!

If I never moved from the Rose and Crown, it would be a day well spent. :drinking1

UK!

IT's actually a tie between Mexico and Canada for the restaurants
and Norway for the ride. Although I also do like the little "El Rio del Tiempo" ride in Mexico too :)

I voted for Japan. I love the atmosphere of the pavillion. It makes me feel very peaceful. Plus they have the drummers, the kaki gori (sp?) and that fabulous store.

Can't choose just one . . .

England - my late mom and I could spend the day just sitting in the rose garden, I really miss that with her
Canada - mom loved the movie so it holds a special place for me
Italy - my DH and I had our first married dinner at Alfredo's (October 2005) so that's my favorite restaurant and I like the shops a lot
Norway - the ride is just the best
Fance - DH's favorite for the food and he loves "Impressions de France" (he bought a Disney CD just because it has the music from "IdF" on it!)
Germany - too many fun dinners to count at Biergarten
America - I like the show and who doesn't love funnel cakes
Japan - two words "Hello Kitty" and one more word "teriyaki"
Morocco - the food and seeing a fez on DH's head - LOL!
Mexico - I like the market and DH likes the food and beverage
China - great shows

Yeah, definitely too many reasons to love each one!

It's so hard to choose just one, but I think Morocco holds the top spot in my heart. I love wandering around and feeling like I'm somewhere else, exploring the shops & museum, and I LOVE the food!

Japan and China are tied for second place for me, and in third comes a tie with all the others!!

From one end to the other, tie between:

UK - Architecture of buildings and courtyard with the British Invasion

Mexico - Indoor themeing, marketplace and boat ride

I love the theming of Mexico and San Angel Inn (although I think the food is extremely average). I love the margaritas and the outside food pavillion. And yes I love the ride, it's so cool and relaxing after a long hard day at the park(and after the margarita).

It's really tough, but I love Morocco best because it was the only country that I felt I was "visiting" and almost forgot I was in WS. Though Japan is a close second because I thought it was the most fun.
