Just watched Janet Jackson's new video Call on Me and then clicked on All For You which reminded me that was the best dang concert I ever attended!

What's your favorite concert? :cool1:

My range of music is so wide:
Up til J's concert, my fave had always been Janis Joplin! :rotfl2:

Lots of them but I loved the Eagles :thumbsup2

Best concert I've ever been to - Garth Brooks, by far!

The best ever for me was the Violent Femmes.

I really loved the first Tim Mcgraw and Faith Hill tour. But, I really loved when I saw Korn with Rob Zombie. Two very different crowds.

I'd honestly have to say Cher's Believe tour has been my all time favorite.

And when I was 12, I was convinced that the best concert I would ever see the rest of my life was the New Kids on the Block concert I went to that year. :rotfl2:

But right now, I am hooked on the American Idol's Live tour. I've already been to it in Milwaukee and Chicago, and am working on Providence, R.I., if I can convince my friend that lives out there to host me for a few days! I don't know what it is about it that's turning me into a groupie (besides Ace Young  ) but I just feel the need to go see it one more time!

It's going to take me a few months to pay off the fun I've had this summer!

Bon Jovi! Jon and the guys always put on the best shows and it's always packed and so much fun. I know they just toured but I can't wait for them to start up again!

wierd al. every costume/makeup you associated with a particular song/video was how he performed it live. 2 solid hours of great fun!

Garth Brooks - 3rd Row Center followed closely by Billy Joel's Storm Front Tour from front row!

I have 2 favorites:

Chris Isaak (just saw him last week for the 4th time)
Harry Connick Jr. :thumbsup2

The Eagles and Don Henly Solo... My wallet doesnt like them though .lol

George Strait and The Ace In The Hole Band!

most fun were aerosmith and then metallica...

This was way back in the 80's though!

Bon Jovi by far!

I also thought Dave Matthews put on a great show back in the mid-late 90's. Personally, I think their shows are not the same anymore.

The best one...ever...

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Grand Opening Concert.

Simply AMAZING!!!

I have to choose my very first concert as my favorite.

"Super Bowl of Rock" at Soldier Field in Chicago with J Geils Band, Foghat, Journey, and Emerson Lake and Palmer. The best part was EL&P, who were the top act and played last in the cooling time of day with the purple and pink lights and "Ce st La Vie"......... heaven.

Also went to a second Super Bowl of Rock that summer with, hmm, hard to remember them all, but Ted Nugent and Lynard Skynard were two of them. Very cool concerts. (Even with the guy who shouted "Free Bird" the whole dang time LS was on.)

I think it was 1976 or 1977 maybe?

Many concerts since then, but it's hard to compete with the first ones that were so huge in every way.

I have a concert problem......when I wonder where all my money goes all I have to do is look at my wall of tickets.

But my favorite without a doubt and I will never miss is Jimmy Buffett.

OP I saw Janet Jackson twice while I was in college - once at the arts center in New Jersey and once at MSG. What a great show!!! Much better than Madonna!

I also have to say that Toby Keith puts on a great show. He makes me melt :)

Liked Garth Brooks tour.

Also saw Rolling Stones (working the event). While it was cool..I don't really listen to their music...so they get honorable mention (which might be blasphemy to place them behind Garth).

Me too--I had 4th row...closest to the artist I had ever been and I was the envy of my friends. :teeth:
