Favorite comfortable, supportive sandals for all that walking?

I wear crocs carpi flip flops (not to original kind) and they are one of the only flip flips I can wear. I used to have plantar fasciitis that was horrible and changing to only good soft yet supportive shoes with good arch support (not too high) will do anymore and these fit the bill. They are pretty plain looking as far as flip flops go but I can wear them all day and my feet feel good. I also feel good in orthaheel sandals but they are much more expensive but they also have cuter styles and feel fabulous.
I also have feet problems (fibromyalgia pain) and the only shoes I could wear were the Crocs Capri and some Yellow Box styles. A friend introduced me to Oofos flipflops. They are the most comfortable things ever! They are super squishy and my feet and legs don't hurt a bit after walking all day.

Another vote for Crocs flip flops. The original style (actually a size too big, but already broken in) were awesome when we went in February during a heat wave.

I'm a bit late to the party, BUT, Merrell's for me have been amazing. Super-comfy out of the box. My favorite is the Sienna open-toe sandal, recently discontinued (I had purchased 3 pairs over 8 years), which makes me & many Merrell wearers VERY disappointed.

But, all of their sandals are unbelievably comfortable from the first time you put them on. I'll be shopping mostly to get a new pair of Merrell's, but I'll definitely take a look at the Teva's too now, given the rave DLR wearer reviews!

I think the OP has purchased, but maybe this will help someone else. I'm bringing all my favorite shoes so that I can change often if one pair is bugging me...or more likely decide that one is the best and wear it all the time. I think I'm bringing:

Chacos sandals
Tevas sandals
Sanuk slings
Merrell tennis shoes
Yellow Box flip flops (for the hotel mostly)
Clarks flip flops

It occurs to me that I have too many casual shoes.

Love my Keens. They've gone through WDW, Universal, Sea World, camping, bike riding, etc. I like them because my feet don't sweat as much as in sneakers and they dry easily if they get wet.

I am struggling right now with shoes for our July trip. Last July (and all last summer) I wore the Orthaheel flip flops referenced earlier, but on our March trip I couldn't even take a step in them after an hour or so. And since then I just cannot wear them. My feet hurt soooo badly in them. I have PF and tendonitis and need something supportive that does not allow my feet to overpronate (roll in). I have tried the Oofos recently and they had no support. Nice soft foot bed, but my feet rolled horribly. I can wear Keens sometimes, but my PF is really bad at the end of the day. Sanuks offer NO arch support, but are nice and soft. I bought a pair last summer and switch into them in the hotel room. I have had luck with crocs in the distant past, so might try them again.

I have PF, my mom also and Oofos have been wonderful for us both. We can wear them all day.

I also have bad PF, and I also broke a weird bone in my foot 10 years ago. My feet have never been the same. I have very high arches and wear custom orthotic insoles. My podiatrist recommended Abeo sandals and walking shoes. They're expensive, but so worth it!

I know it's hot, but I tend to wear my tennies, with a no-show sock, and a good insert to help with PF. If you have a brand of sneakers you like, they may have a more summer model with mesh sides, etc., that you could put an orthotic/insert into.

In order to have something that would be a little cooler, I did recently get these shoes half a size larger than I usually get, and put in an insole on top of their padding (it's not a removable insole) - YMMV. I like that my toes are protected from runaway strollers and accidental mishaps, but it's still relatively airy. My sister has similar ones, and puts in a 3/4 length insole.

Last summer before going to Las Vegas, I got the Sanook - it did not work well for me in the super hot weather (110), my feet kept sliding on the yoga mat bottoms - I also have that issue with a number of the Croc shoes .

I have to add my vote for Tevas. I wear their hiking sandals and find them very comfortable and waterproof. Just remember to break them in before you hit the parks.

I can't wear the sanuk yoga sandals...too flat! I love my birkenstocks (I have a classic mickey pair) or Teva Mush flip flops.... or certain Jambu mary jane style shoes_ I wear these in cooler weather - I have keens (they're ok) and a pair of Nike air sneakers (pretty good) but I find flat with high arch support is the only type of shoe I can wear. Birkenstocks are the best. (I loved crocs,b/c they mold to the shape of your foot, but my last trip to DL was when I discovered I couldn't use them in the rain...absolutely no traction it was like skating!)

I ended up getting the JSport at Famous Footwear. They are having a huge sale today. The JSport Regatta is similar to Keens but I found the footbed more cushy. http://www.famousfootwear.com/en-US...Sport/Grey_Orchid/Womens+Regatta+Sneaker.aspx
...and I like the Jsport(forgot about those) they used to be Jsport or jeep, and I *think* they are the same as Jambu or JBU brand...the reason I got my current Jambu shoes was b/c I had an OLD 2ndhand pair of jeep/jsport shoes that were so ugly but so comfortable!(the new JBU/sport/Jambu styles are pretty cute)

Have you looked at Vionics (http://www.vionicshoes.com)? Their sandals/shoes are specifically made to prevent pronating. I don't have a pair, but have heard good things about them.
I have. Those are the orthaheel flips I referenced. I think their new name is vionic, but I still call them Orthaheel. I have house slippers of that brand and some tennis shoes. The Tide flips were great all last summer, but now my PF is acting up and each step feels like I am being stabbed. The trouble with most shoes that work to prevent overpronating is that they have no cushion. I have terrible trouble with PF, so it hurts to take a step on those hard footbeds. I spent last night researching some options and have some motion control sneakers on the way that are reported to have some cushion as well. I need to get this figured out before our July trip as I am almost dreading it and DL is my HAPPY PLACE for goodness sakes!

I love my birkenstocks (I have a classic mickey pair)

WHAT!?! How have I not known about these! They're super cute!

These ones are for girls but I would totally wear them!!

They also came out with UGG Minnie Mouse boots and they're so cute I can't even stand it! :)
