If it’s hot, then the Piranha Pool or Dole Whip with rum at Trader Sam’s. The blood orange margarita at Hearthstone Lounge is also delicious.
I like the fun wheel at Lamplight (not on the menu).
OOOOHH-- What's in that? That looks good.
I have tried so hard to find a drink I love at Ogas and I just haven't. Jedi mind trick was probably the best of the bunch but Hearthstone has probably 10 drinks I'd rather have than anything at Ogas. It's interesting reading this thread,, that no one has listed anything from Oga's. I guess the atmosphere is the bigger draw there than the drinks.
edited to add: sorry about that. Posted in wrong forum and wrong park
Avocado Margarita at La Cava in Epcot's Mexico Pavilion.
This is definitely one of my faves as well! I also had an awesome cocktail at Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen, but I don't remember what it was. They seemed to have a good choice of cocktails, though, and I believe what I had was a special of the day. Maybe it was the Cat-5 hurricane?Other +1's to the Honey Buzz at Pyms and the Blood Orange margarita at Hearthstone. Haven't seen mentioned so far, my other two favorites: Cinnamon Toast Crunch cocktail at Lamplight Brunch, and the new Hurricane at Blue Bayou! I like sweet drinks, I case that wasn't obvious haha.
Their regular Rita's are pretty tasty too, but I was too much of a wimp for the black ant rim. I don't usually do salt anyway, but insects?I wish there was an Avocado Margarita at Disneyland! Sounds fascinating!
Ha! I’ve done the black ant rim at la Cantina de San Angel. It was … Crunchy.Their regular Rita's are pretty tasty too, but I was too much of a wimp for the black ant rim. I don't usually do salt anyway, but insects?
Oooh… if you like beer *and*bloody Mary’s maybe try a very baja drink and try a Michelada. There are a couple places in DCA that serve them - Cocina Cucamonga for one (also have an alch Horchata I want to try.) But if you go to Cocina Cucamonga you must promise to try the BeefBirria tacos with your libation. I dream of these beauties… and their consommé. I really love a good Bloody Mary. Anyone know who makes a good one at DLR? JK has a Cajun one but I've not tried it.
Oh man, I will definitely try these!! Thanks for the heads up. In all my many visits to DLR, I've only gone to Cocina Cucamonga once and I got a kid mealOooh… if you like beer *and*bloody Mary’s maybe try a very baja drink and try a Michelada. I am intrigued. I checked out the menu and everything looks delish. Question though, is one order 1 taco or 2? 2 tacos, no sides other than the elixir-of-life consommé. There has been some discussion on the boards as to whether you can order extra consommé to dip some lovely (local) sourdough in…. Not that I’m above just slurping that salty cup of goodness.I am intrigued. I checked out the menu and everything looks delish. Question though, is one order 1 taco or 2? Hearthstone Lounge at GCH has a tasty one!I like a whiskey or bourbon Mule. Some of the restaurants used to have them. Not sure who does now.
Have you tried the birria toasted cheese sandwich at Jolly Bakery?2 tacos, no sides other than the elixir-of-life consommé.
