favorite classic snl

Dh likes the Jason Priestley (sp?) one where he's an ice skater and he just keeps falling and falling and falling and then they show him on the ice and he's flat on his face just spinning around.:rotfl:

My Dad almost pees his pants when the Love Toilet or whatever the dual toilet thing fake commercial was called. The husband and wife are sitting next to eachother going to the bathroom.

It only happened a few weeks ago. And I know there were oodles of threads about it.

But it is bound to become one of SNL's classics and should be mentioned one more time :)

Justin Timberlake's D*** in a Box

Agreed.

I don't know what the skit was called, but it was Phil Hartman doing a "commercial" for a luxury car that was disguised as a junker so it wouldn't get stolen. All I remember was Hartman saying "Duct tape over the brake lights - STANDARD" . It was hysterical!

omg how could i forget, Patrick Swayze and Chris Farley in the Chippendale's skit.

That was my first thought too. So funny!

Farley as the motivational speaker. They still play that skit at the local minor league hockey rink before each game, and always a big laugh.

Hartman as Sinatra singing duets with a bunch of revolving musicians like Bono and Meatloaf.

All of mine are old school:

Samurai Night Fever
(All the Samurai skits were great, but this was the best IMO)

Bass O Matic

Chico Escuela: "Beisbol been berry berry good to me."

Dan Ackroyd doing his best Crazy Eddie imitation

Lets not forget Colon Blow. I bought Total Raisin Bran the other day and DH said something about getting a free package of toilet paper with my Colon Blow. LOL

All the classic stuff! Does anyone remember the "commercials" for puppy uppers/doggie downers? Or "new dad"?:lmao:
Anything with Phil Hartman.
Celebrity Jeopardy!

"I'm Gumby dammit!"

and

Eddie Murphy in "James Brown's Celebrity Hot Tub Party"..."soaking in the hot tub, gonna make me sweat"

and

Martin Short as Ed Grimley...he loved Pat Sajak and played the triangle...best episode is when he is visited by Satan(Jon Lovitz) "The Devil you say! Gimme a break." "I'm doomed as doomed can be, you know"

and

anything with Phil Hartman, RIP

and

anything with Billy Crystal, Eddie Murphy, Dennis Miller(how you doin'?) or A. Whitney Brown.

What, no love for the "Oops I Crapped My Pants" adult diaper commerical? "How do you know so much about Oops I Crapped My Pants?" "Because I'm wearing them.. and I just did." :rotfl2:

I love that one and the one for Homocil.. the pill for parents who have anxiety because they think their child might be gay. I love the kid coming into the room and asking "Who wants creme brulee?"

So many of my favorites have been mentioned already. I will only add the skit with the guys at the menswear store (I'm not sure of the name). Will Ferrel comes out on a scooter and answers the ultra tiny phone. All the guys in the skit were cracking up. It was hilarious.

The doctor pepper commercial parody where they sing "I'm a ****, she's a ****, Hes a ****, wouldn't you like to be a **** too.

I laughed till I fell over just watching the dancing in that one.

One of my favorite skits of late is the Appalachian Emergency Room. What a hoot!

John Belushi imitating Joe Cocker, then the 2 of them on stage together. John did a better Cocker than Joe!

Jewess jeans commercials with Gilda Radnor.

Jane Curtin in the cereal commerical were they're all crunching on rocks for the benefits of roughage in the diet.

Lisa Loopner & Todd
The Festrunk Brothers
The Ambiguously Gay Duo
The Barry Gibb Talk Show
More Cowbell

I almost forgot this one - when Tonto, Tarzan, and Frankenstein sing Christmas carols. :rotfl2:

I also used to love Celebrity Jeopardy whenever "Sean Connery" was on. One of the categories was Therapists so he asks for The Rapists for 200. LOL That always cracks me up. Burt Reynolds demanding to be called Turd Ferguson. LOL

I love Celebrity Jeopardy! Hehe and Sean Connery was great...I'll take the P*enis is mightier, Trebek. :rotfl: There was one time when Tobey Maguire was hosting and the put him on the Jeopardy panel as Keanu Reeves..."I know kung fu Alex." Hehe.
