Came across a blast from my past-- Christmas Jollies by the Salsoul Orchestra. I know it's cheesy repetitive 70's disco but I really liked this as a kid, would play the record over and over. Good party background music, very upbeat!
Beach Boys Christmas album is by far my favorite. My dad is huge fan of the BB, so we listened to it every year. I also enjoy the Glee Christmas album. There's also Harry Conic Jr. Harry for the Holiday's. Years ago (2002?) DH and I happened to catch Oprah's favorite things Christmas episode and he was on it promoting his new album. DH enjoyed the song he sung so much that he went out that week and bought it. While they only have two songs, the Florin Street Band has beautiful Christmas music with Winter Wonder and Favorite Time of the Year
.
Aside from those it's often random songs that are my favorites; and often times it's a particular rendition. A favorite song that I never hear is a country song called "two stepping a round the Christmas tree".
