Favorite Cheeseburger

BLT Burger from Times Grill.

Jr Bacon Cheeseburger from Five Guys.

Thickburger from Hardee's.

Cheeburger Cheeburger

In N Out Double Double
Carl's Jr Jalepeno Burger

A one-third pound bacon cheddar burger from FuddRuckers! Add lots of pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, some mustard and ketchup...MMmmmmm!

Hardee's/Carl's Jr. (same company, different sides of the country).

Any burger is good as long as it is cooked by someone else!

Let's see I like the McD's Quarter pounder with all that "juice" a previous poster mentioned.

Merritt Canteen in Bridgeport, CT used to have the yummiest burgers IMO thanks to their mustard concoction that they would make (I think it was mustard). But I haven't had one in years & the owners changed so I am not so sure anymore.

I rather like the Devil's Spit burger from Famous Dave's Bar-B-Q. (comes with Pepper jack cheese)
I'm also very partial to Le Burger Brasserie at Paris Hotel in Las Vegas. They have a burger with Brie, Carmelized Onions and Smoked Bacon. Unbelieveably yummy!

I poked around and found that most of these places aren't even near us!!! :sad1: Of course we have Wendys, McD's, BK. Wait, that is it. We don't even have "good" fast food. :rotfl:

Red Robin is good, but over an hour away.

Found out that we do have a 5 Guys like 20 minutes away from us. We are so going there!!!

Cheeburger Cheeburger looks good. Of course, none around us or even near any of the places we travel to. Mmmm, I think I need to think of a reason to take a road trip to PA or something. ;)

Another vote for Five Guys -- little burger with mustard, grilled onion, pickle, lettuce and tomato. And fries ..... (we made the mistake of each ordering an order of fries the first time and have since found that one order is enough for 2 hungry or 3 medium-hungry people!)

Old-time favorite burger used to be at Jungle Jim's at the Crossroad (before it started going downhill and eventually closed). They had a menu of a variety of strange burgers (like Red Robin probably, but I've never been to a Red Robin). Our favorites included the Peanut Butter Bet (1/3 lb. burger with all the toppings you'd like + a smear of peanut butter!) Bleu Max was good, too -- burger with toppings + bleu cheese.

Mmm ... burgers ....

We tried Five Guys recently...
Good burger! hot off their grill... :thumbsup2
But, the fries... I was excited that they are fresh-cut potatoes. But, they fry them in heavy peanut oil, and they were very very greasy.

Cracker Barrel...
Yep, big burger... like the grilled steak you can order as a plate... Not spectacular beef, but very good. And, their thick cut steak fries or onion rings.. :thumbsup2
The only drawback to Cracker Barrel is that they only have the sweet bread-n-butter type pickle. So, if you like dill or deli pickles, no luck. That, and the fact that a burger at Cracker Barrel is NOT fast food... They are big patties, and they cook them from deep frozen. So, if somebody orders a burger, it seems to take some time.

 IN n OUT BURGER!!!

Hmm...no FIVE GUYS near me in SoCal! :headache: I would love to try that place for sure. :goodvibes

Well since you're bringing up Steak n Shake, which we don't have here on the whole west side of the country, I'm saying In n' Out.

Double double with fries done well, please.

You took the words out of my mouth!!! The best burger is from In & Out, wasn't going to mention that or rub it in to those that have never tried one (lived near one, smelled one or seen one), however, we don't have steak & shake out here...therefore...nahnah nah nah nahnah, the winner is of course In & Out!!! Oh, they win the fry category too! :thumbsup2

Hardee's makes an excellet burger. Better then I ever expected from a chain restaurant.

Ever wonder why???

...
Hardee's Monster Thickburger

1,420 calories
108 g fat (43 g saturated fat)
2,770 mg sodium
230 mg cholesterol

This burger is called "Monster" for a reason. It's got the caloric equivalent of almost six McDonald's hamburgers, the saturated fat equivalent of 43 strips of Oscar Mayer bacon, and the sodium equivalent of 84 saltine crackers. You'll almost satisfy your entire day's worth of calories in one sitting, so opt for the significantly less monstrous Low-Carb Thickburger, instead, and save 1,000 calories that you can allocate to more deserving and nutritious fare.

When I am at work my favorite place to go is Five Guys. The Little Bacon Cheeseburger with fried onions and bbq sauce! They have the best buns there too.

When I am at home, we go to Red Robin in Hershey by Hersheypark. I love their Whiskey River BBQ Burger. To die for!

Well, there is a restuant chain here called Tommy's
Best chili burger EVER or In n Out's double double animal styled....

But nation chain..I would have to say Carls Jr.

Tommy's!!!!! gets my vote. (I think they are only in LA and Fresno).
