who was your favorite character on the ship and who were you most surpised to see on the ship?

Like most, I think Mickey is my favorite character to see. He always looks like he's ready to sail the high seas, whether in a tux or vacation clothes.

Some characters on the ship come out more frequently than I might see in the parks. We are DLR annual passholders, and we saw Max (Goofy's son) on the Wonder. Haven't seen him in the parks really. I know there are some others that came out too but I can't remember. GF liked having her picture with Alice, we don't see much of her either.

Our favorite was Cinderella. My kids absolutely loved her. She spent a lot of time talking to my girls and she was beautiful! DH said she was a "hottie" and my FIL wondered if we had seen her in a bikini.

Seeing GOOFY in the cruise terminal before we boarded the ship !!That was a neat surprise !!:bounce:

I can only have one.....

Anyone who has ever had the opportunity to waltz with her around the atrium knows there is only .....

Minnie.

PS Sorry, DW

My favorite was Captain Hook.

My first thought was Cinderella, because my DD adores her. When you see a little girl light up when they see her! Wow!

But after reading a few posts, I thought I just love to see Mickey! After all these years, it doesn't matter. Mickey Mouse makes my heart go pitter patter!

Peter Pan. My son loves him and gets so excited when he sees him. I was surprised to see Pinnochio.

Capt Hook...
We were eating at PC for breakfast, and DH was still asleep I think. But anyway, he went back to the room to get the camera, and on his way back, Capt Hook was following him, then got in front of him and blocked his path to PC. Capt Hook then let DH pass....DH thought he was rid of him, but Capt Hook followed him to our table (DH still clueless at this time) and he was making all these funny getures over his head. It took DH a few seconds to figure it out, it was SO FUNNY:D (it was funnier in person as I reread this, trust me!)

Stitch is my favorite!!!
After missing him on several cruises (seems like we're always in the spa when he and Lilo are out), we finally caught up with him at the farewell in the atrium on the last night of our Feb. cruise. He kept taking over the piano from the poor piano player. He stole one little boy's pen and then tossed it! He was making all sorts of mischief, just as you would suspect. I bought a special Stitch frame at the Polynesian Hotel to put my photo in.
Captain Hook runs a close second. He is very wicked and even tried to steal my pins once. Pete Pan and Anne Marie are lots of fun, too. Check them out at the farewell...they are usually near the shore excursion desk, and look up Hades too.

I absolutely adored Mickey. In the parks, you have to wait a LONG time to get a breif moment with him. On the Wonder, I was passing by him on a deck (on his way to a photo op I guess)

He was in his Cap'n Uniform and I instantly turned into a cuddly 5 yo and had to HUG him! That was my magical moment.

It is never too late to have a happy childhood!

I also adored Snow White. She was perfect for the role.

Goofy is a special charachter to my heart too. He reminds me of my husband!

here's another vote for Captain Hook

I was surprised to see him on the boat, not usually a favorite characterof mine, but he was so much fun and silly!

Hands down my favorite character is Cinderella. She was so attentive to my DD, calling her by name every time we saw her...which was at least once a day...and knelt down on the ground to talk to her even when we were in the hall. DD "calls" her often to tell her how much she misses her friend & will see her soon. The way she affected DD touched my heart.

Oh, to the one who posted that their FIL thought that she was a "hottie", she was the lead Disney dancer on our cruise in November & had the lead female part in the La Vida Loco dance at the tropical deck party. DH & I had to laugh when we recognized her that night.
