Favorite burger at WDW?

The plain ol' cheeseburger from Captn Cooks at the Poly is actually quite good!

This trip I didn't lke the burgers I had- Cosmic rays and in AK. They were overly cooked. Last year we ate burges at Electric Umbrella and they were excellent.

Beaches & Cream is DH's 1st choice, but Big River Grille has good burgers too.

While I don't eat much red meat (only on vacation:thumbsup2 ) I'm looking forward to Sci Fi Dine in Theatre in Jan. for burgers and shakes!

I second Pecos Bill's, although I too, have no where else to compare it with as I get the veggie burgers there.

I like the burgers at Le Cellier. I'm sure as hard as it is to get an ADR there, most people would opt for something else, but the burgers are really good.

I like the B&C burgers, but I prefer a thicker burger and those are a little on the thin side.

The Plaza at MK also has a good burger.

Pecos Bills has always drawn us in. Yrs ago, their burgers were a lot better, but the fixins bar seems to compensate for them. Cosmic Rays is also good. And Roaring Forks at WL has good burgers too.

pecos bill..............great burgers.

had one there a few weeks ago

"The Fountain" at The Dolphin

I was going to comment about this but then I saw this post...

We've always sworn by Beaches & Cream. This last trip we tried the Dolphin Fountain and I have to say that I was pretty impressed by their burger too.

And well, I could totally parrot these comments, as I just tried the Dolphin Fountain a couple of weeks ago for the first time!

Years ago, the burgers at Pecos Bill's and Cosmic Ray's were great, and the fixin's bars just made those the best places to have a burger. Then when Beaches and Cream opened, I thought they had the best burgers, but I found the quality lacking in recent years.

I wouldn't have tried the Fountain for a burger had I not read a dining review (with pictures!) of their burgers. I really enjoyed mine.

are the onion rings at Sci Fi beer battered? I love o rings but beer battered ones are not for me. We hit our 180 day in December and I am considering Sc Fi since I have fond remembrances of drive ins as a kid.

they tasted regular to me, i liked them:thumbsup2 but i dont like beer batter, so i'd say they were not beer battered.

We like Cosmic Rays b/c of the toppings bar and that you can get a double cheese on the dining plan. I just prefer they have a white bread bun, not wheat.

I'm sorry that I can't give you advice on the SciFi onion rings since no one in our group ordered them, but I had to respond when I saw your post quoted and tell you that your username is a hoot!

We tried SciFi in August and really enjoyed it. Based on what I read here, I didn't have high expectations going in and wound up very pleased with our meal. I had 4 boys with me, ages 11-17, and they all really enjoyed the atmosphere of the place as well as their food.

The best part for me was my burger, but the other thing was this--our ADR was for 3:00 p.m. That worked out so well, I'm doing the same thing next trip.

We had breakfast in our room (Pop Tarts), then churros and frozen Cokes around noon. It was blazingly hot that day, so the mid-afternoon break inside SciFi was so welcome. It is so cool and dark in there.

Then when it came time to see Fantasmic (at 8:00 p.m. I think), we weren't dealing with trying to get out of a restaurant in time to get there or worried about rushing to a dinner some place after the show.
