Favorite buffet breakfast place???

Our favorite is 1900 Park Faire. The food has been our favorite out of the rest of the buffets, and we love the characters: Mad Hatter, Mary Poppins, Alice, and Tigger.

Crystal Palace!!! Our family rated our Disney restaurant experiences on our last trip and Crystal Palace and LeCellier were the only 5 stars for everyone in the family. The food is varied and delicious and the restaurant is light and cheery.

Favorite breakfast buffet= Boma, great selection and love love th jungle juice and zubra domes!!! Best character buffet= Chefs Mickey We are going in March and we are going to try: Tusker House, Cafe May Cafe , Chyrstal Palace. Will let you know after our trip about these places.

Agree the juice is awesome. Have never had a zebra dome at breakfast. Did you have to order it?
The other place we like is Capts grille at YC. You can either order off the menu or get the buffet which works for our family!

WoW! Well that was the clincher for me! We're definately going to give CP a try, but we may even give in to a second breakfast...hmmmm? So many decisions, I LOVE IT! Thanks for all the help, DISers:goodvibes

I've only been to Tusker House, but my favorite Disney eatery is Cape May, and a lot of people are enjoying it as a breakfast. So Mom, the creator of this page, I think Cape May is a good decision.

You are very right, Bud, I guess we have lots of thinking to do and thankfully plenty of time to do it in. Can't wait to share more WDW memories with you :yay:

Tuska house. We loved the food and it is wonderful to be in the parks and done with breakfast before the park opens! Takes some planning though;)

22 trips, 22 breakfasts at Crystal Palace. I'd vote for it but we went in August 2010 and you know what? We were grossly disappointed. The meats were cold and greasy, the cold bar (fruits, yogurt, etc) was just plain messy, the breakfast lasagne is a thing of the past, I guess, and the characters were out of sync- had to wait 90 mins to see Pooh, Eeyore, and Tigger- never did see Piglet. We still had our walk up Main St. USA in an empty theme park, and were there for rope drop, but the food just wasn't very good this time around. We will rethink CP breakfast- it's too pricy to be not good.

Our NEW favorite is BOMA for breakfast! (We adore it for supper!). The "house juice" is a tropical blend, and delightful, although more traditional options are available. There is ample, well prepared, traditional breakfast food as well as some more venturesome choices (we really liked the quinoa hot cereal and the scrambled eggs with goat cheese) and hot roasted meats. Oooh, we really liked the plump, juicy "African" sausages, too! Plenty of fresh fruit, breakfast breads/sweets, eggs, waffles, pancakes. Everything is very well prepared, not dried out or messy like at CP and Chef Mickey's. I can't say enough about it, or how surprised we were to like it so much!

Chef Mickeys is our Family Favorite! My 11 year old son is asking to go back there on our next visit ! HE loves breakfast and looks forward to the mickey waffles~!

Whether it be resort or park, character or not, please send along your favorite and why. THANKS :thumbsup2

Best breakfast buffet= Boma (great selection, awesome juice)

Best Character breakfast= Chef Mickeys, we are trying Cape May Cafe and Tusker house and Chrystal Palace all for breakfast in March.

I hate to even share this, but if you're looking for a great breakfast buffet and don't need the character interaction -- look no further than the Yacht Club Galley.

We ate there twice on our last trip in October - it was that good. Wonderful selection of breakffast items - fresh fruit, yogurt with toppings -- oatmeal with toppings -- cold cereals -- eggs benedict -- eggs cooked to order -- egg fritata -- all kinds of breakfast breads -- all you can eat and several beverages to choose from -- juices, milk, tea, soda, etc.
