Favorite buffet breakfast place???

Many thanks to all that replied....We have done Tusker House twice and liked it very much but thought we'd try something new...The boys fav dinner is Cape May so that may be fun to try. We have much thinking and investigating to do...I'll keep you posted if we should come up with a decision.

I noticed that know one mentioned Ohana. We have breakfast reservations there next week. We have eaten dinner there before and LOVED it. How is the breakfast?

Now that you mention a 12yo boy and wanting a character meal I'd say Chef Mickey's. Its loud, rowdy and has 5 characters: Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto and Donald. There was a teenage boy next to us with his grandfather and he seemed to love his time there.

I think Pooh is a bit babyish and many 12yo boys wouldn't want their friends to see them in photos with Pooh or his friends...lol.

Since Stitch is kind of a "bad" boy the character breakfast at 'Ohana might be fun for a boy that age.

For food I stand firm on my suggestion of Boma. It is hands down the best breakfast buffet at WDW. If your 12yo loves to eat, that is the buffet for him. There will be lots of familiar breakfast fare, made to order eggs, omlettes, pancakes, amazing french toast, chocolate chip muffins, fruit, yogurt, meats. My 9yo is picky and he loves Boma breakfast, calls it "awesome".

Boma because the food is just incredible and there are different things on it that you cannot get anywhere else like the sausage biscuit cassarole, corn beef hash, banana bread, goat cheese eggs

Because we've done Tusker House twice before and we usually do Chef Mickey's for dinner, it's between Boma for something very different, or Crystal Palace cuz we are rope drop finatics and think it would be cool going in before hand...hmmmm???? :confused3

Our favorite is Crystal Palace. They have a great selection of fresh fruit in addition to the traditional breakfast items, plus an egg station where you can get your eggs made-to-order. And then there's the ambiance of the restaurant and the whole getting into MK when it's empty thing. :)

That said, we've never tried Tusker House for breakfast. We love it for lunch, and I imagine it would also be phenomenal for breakfast.

Whether it be resort or park, character or not, please send along your favorite and why. THANKS :thumbsup2

We love Cape May Cafe for breakfast! The food is good, we've always had great service, and awesome character interaction with Minnie, Goofy, and Donald. It's not as crazy as some other character meals, so we like that.

I gotta second that!

Crystal Palace is a good choice, if you like to be in the park at Rope Drop.
My favorite is Tusker House. LOVE the juice!
I think next time I'll try Boma for breakfast. We always go for dinner.:wizard:

I've only been to Tusker House, but my favorite Disney eatery is Cape May, and a lot of people are enjoying it as a breakfast. So Mom, the creator of this page, I think Cape May is a good decision.
