Favorite Bad Movie

The other is called "Midnight Madness" about four teams of college students on a scavenger hunt around Los Angeles. Starring David Naughton (The "wouldn't you like to be a Pepper too?" guy for those of you over 33) and Michael Fox (he didn't use the J. back then; I believe this was his first role). The cast also includes Stephen Furst and that skinny guy who plays the geek in every movie that has a geek in it, but I have no idea what his name is (sorry skinny geek guy). Pee Wee Herman even has a small role in the movie.

I love this one too.

Another one that I could watch over and over and still laugh is Waynes World. ;)

I'm another Midnight Madness fan!! I can't believe that 2 other people have already mentioned this movie!

I also love Troop Beverly Hills with Shelley Long, Craig T. Nelson and Mary Gross.

I love Mannequin too!! But, another really bad movie with Kim Cattrall ( I believe this would be the first) is Porky's. Lassie!!! It's such a bad movie, but it cracks me up every time.

Mommie Dearest.............no wire coat hangers!!

That's is my all time bad Fav!

Dude Where's My Car is a hoot along with Road Trip and The New Guy

Any and all Pauly Shore movies.

And I thought I was the only one who still watched his movies!
:p DH and I love him so much, we even went to see him when he was on tour back in 96 and he played at Casa Manana in downtown Ft. Worth.

I also have to admit loving The Cutting Edge as well as Tank Girl (with Lori Petty, who was also in Free Willy and A League of Their Own) and Who's That Girl (starring a very young, very cute Madonna).

Some people may consider these bad movies, but I love watching them:

Burglar and Jumpin' Jack Flash with Whoopi Goldberg. One of my favorite scenes in JJF is when Whoopi is trying to decipher/figure out the words to Mick Jagger's song, too funny! BTW, does anyone know what Mick Jagger was singing about in this song?

Big Trouble in Little China with Kurt Russell. My favorite line, "It's all in the reflexes".:teeth: :teeth:

Ahh.. Bad movies are my favorite. Sometimes it just feels good to relax and watch a brainless movie you don't have to think about!

Here are some of my favorites

Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure (and Bogus Journey)
Encino Man
Tremors 1 & 2 - still have to see 3
Uncle Buck
Wagon's East (The movie John Candy was making when he died)
The Breakfast Club
Major League
The Scout
The 'Burbs
All the National Lampoon Vacation movies

I could go on and on and on....

No one has said mine yet, hope I'm not too weird! But it's Godzilla!! I love that movie! Never understood why everyone said it was bad or why it flopped!! I also LOVE Grease 2! I want a cool rider!:teeth:

This is why I love the boards. I didn't think anyone else in the world loved Grease 2!!! LOL! I also have to agree with The Cutting Edge. One of my sorority sisters just bought Troop Beverly Hills from Ebay, so that's been another favorite around the house lately. I will add Spiceworld , Crossroads (the Britany Spears movie), On the Line (with Lance and Joey from NSYNC), and any Mary-Kate and Ashely Olsen movie cause I love them all.

You know... now that it's in writing... I realize what a dork I really am!!! LOL!

"Night of the Comet" - I think it was on cable in the 80's. And "Valley Girl" with Deborah Foreman and Nicolas Cage.

These are not just bad they are really bad. Motel Hell and Attack Of The Killer Tomatoes. These are older movies. Something more current is Bubble Boy with Swoozie Kurtz as the Mom. Its so bad I can only watch a few minutes at a time.

I like Teen Wolf with Michael J Fox and Sixteen Candles. Why does it seem all these bad movies are from the 80's?

I love Clerks...It's sooo bad, yet soooo good.

How can you call 16 Candles a bad movie? What a classic. Any time that the king of the dipsticks can score with the prom queen, bring home a pair of Molly Ringwald's underwear and win a dozen floppy discs at the same time, that has to be a recipe for cinematic success.

I have three degrees of separation between myself and one of the stars of Candles and I hear that they are working on a sequel, called 32 Candles. I'm trying to get a copy of the script. I can't wait.

THE DONGER NEED FOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Cutting Edge (and I think DH would admit to liking that one
too!)

Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure

Waterworld

I knew someone had to mention this movie! You have not truly exoerienced the glory of this movie until you've seen it in a gay bar.

I can't believe nobody has mentioned Staying Alive yet! The sequel to Saturday Night Fever is like watching a train wreck that you can't take your eyes off of! John Travolta, Finola Hughes and Cynthia Rhodes were great.

Was it Return of the Living Dead? I'm not sure of which sequel but it was very funny. I'll watch it if I can find it on television :teeth:
