Favorite Back Pack - and what do you have in it?

Ha! So do I, although now we switch between that one and DH's college backpack. We carry our wallets, camera and cell phones, sunglasses, sunscreen and chapstick, wipes and sanitizer, some first aid items, medicines, autograph stuff, 1 or 2 water bottles, and some snacks for the kids. We're adding ponchos this go round after getting caught in the rain at DLR. Oh and most of that is in a bunch of ziploc plastic bags so (1) it's protected on water rides and (2) we can find what we need easily.

This list matches mine pretty closely, but we add an external charger for our phones. I've whittled it down a lot over the years. Our first couple trips with toddlers/preschoolers, I carried a HUGE, heavy padded camera backpack.

Now I use a string/cinch backpack. I just can't do crossbody bags all day. They always rub or make my neck hurt after a while. But I got an good-quality Adidas string bag. It is lightweight, but also very sturdy, with a zipper pouch on the outside (keeps my cell phone handy) and a net waterbottle holder.

I tend to do all the carrying for my family, but I'd recommend giving a couple adults a smaller string bag, rather than one person carrying a larger backpack with stuff for 11 people.
