One man's fav is another's ugh....and vice versa. And I have found that a wonderful and memorable experience one time, can be no so wonderful the next. For example - we had a fabulous dinner (meal and ambience) at the Portobello Yacht club. We had a quiet table next to a window. Couldn't wait to go back! On our next visit, they sat us in the big room, right near the kitchen exit for the waitstaff, and next to a huge party of antsy little kids. The food was just as good, but it was overshadowed by the location of the table.
Another example....twice we loved the Prime Time Cafe and the reason was the terrific waitress who was very outgoing and got into the mood. Next time, we got a dud for a waiter.
You just never know.
