Hi everyone,

I want to make a cd for the car ride to the airport. We are travelling to another city so that we can fly for much cheaper. Well actually we live in Canada and are driving to the USA to fly -- a savings of $800!!!! well worth the 3 1/2 hour drive.

Anyhoo, back on topic, I'm looking for suggestions for a fun Disney CD to start our trip off right!!

Thanks:goodvibes

Songs right from the attractions always seem to build excitement in my car (even if I'm driving alone). Stuff like Grim Grinning Ghosts, A Pirates Life for Me, the Tiki Room, the Wishes soundtrack, pretty much anything except It's a Small World ;)

Excellent Ideas!! Thanks so much, I'm off work tomorrow, YAY-- thank goodness for compressed days-- and plan to make the cd and our t-shirts. Its going to be a day of Disney!!:goodvibes

"Great Big beautiful Tomorrow"-COP and the expired Horizons
"Imagination"-Figment
"Laughing place"-Splash Mountain

My favorite is the Siamese song from Lady and the Tramp :thumbsup2
It's not a very long song but that Si and Am are my favorite villians....

Ooooh! We also drive to the USA to fly. Do you go to Buffalo? I can't think of what would be closest? We just go to Detroit. In anycase, I have a Disney mix on my iPod for just such situations! Here are some of my favourites:

all the fun songs from Mary Poppins
Splash Mountain medley
Grim Grinning Ghosts
Pirates Life For Me
Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow
Let's Get Together (from the original Parent Trap)
Wishes Soundtrack
Fantasmic soundtrack
fun Disney movie songs (i.e. - Be Our Guest, One Jump Ahead, I Wont Say I'm In Love, Under The Sea, etc.)
Theme song from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse (it makes me giggle! )

Have a great trip!

I will be singing that song all night now! Thanks a lot! We are siamese if you please....:lmao:
This does give me a good idea. I will probably make a CD for our car trip to Disney next month. My girls do not know we are going to Disney...so I might just slip the disc in when we get into Florida...and just see if they can figure it out! They still think we are just going to Cocoa beach! :cool1:

Can you download anything form Disney's "On the Record" ? Anyone know what that is ? It was an off broadway play that told the story through Disney songs of relationships between artist who are recording an album together, I LOVE that soundtrac b/c it's all Disney movie songs but nothing in it's entirety, just the recognizible parts. It and the Official Walt Disney World Album stay in my car CD changer all of the time. I love the latest one that has some of the old attraction songs as well as the new ones. "Veggie Veggie Fruit Fruit", "Listen to the Land", and "Now is the Time" are my favorites from that one. But I'm probably older than you ;) I'm sure many readers wouldn't know those. Gee really giving away my age here.

One of our favorite soundtracks is the music from the Animal Kingdom. I bought the CD in the Ak park a few years back and now its a staple for putting PeeWee down to bed every night or if we are in the car and we want him to take a nap. Its a great CD if youve never heard it! Highly recommended!:thumbsup2

PS good to be back after so many months away from the boards! See you this April!!

If you are attending a session of MNSSHP, please consider including "Boo-To-You" Halloween Parade sequence which is included on the "Event Party Music" CD. It is very catchy and could enhance your experience during the parade. It's one of DD's favorites.
