Favorite All Inclusive (and why)?

Hey, Jimini.... No personal intent here at all.... But, just in the interest in providing information.
Here is just one, of many, photos and comments about the food and lack of.
This one is from a local spanish speaking person.
Shows empty food bins on the buffet. And mentions 'Mal servicio'.

ETA: I can't get the link to work... But one just has to look at a recent review by a Spanish speaking (Mexican?) guest who's last name seems to be Paz.
Their review distribution seems to be 17-Excellent, to only 1-poor.
(Hardly seems to be a worldly US/Canadian North American who is looking for USDA steak and fresh lobster.)

And there are others... for example, at lunch, burgers and meats on the grill... the burgers and meat would run out halfway thru lunch-time, and no more would be brought out.

Sorry, but it is what it is.
I'm sorry, but if you would rather believe that over what I have witnessed then it's your prerogative. In all my 10 years of going 3-5 weeks per year, I can tell you I have not witnessed it. I could go and copy and paste some good comments but I don't choose to do so. You have your mind made up.

We have stayed at quite a few all inclusives, cruising is more our thing . I wanted to comment on the Allegro : I loved their food , I never saw it run out. The only thing is the weekends , they sell day pass to the locals , and boy can they eat. But I’ve seen this elsewhere . The food was great at the buffet, the a la cartes. I loved the bungalows, but took the advice and stayed on the bottom floor.

I last went in May, and don’t go here if you don’t enjoy wildlife, it if you do, then it’s for you. Iguanas sunning themselves everywhere , their version of a mongoose outside your door (loved them ). But the food was great

Our favorite was paradise village in Puerta Vallarta . Best food, staff and beaches

Tripadvisor has taken the stance that things under criminal investigation should not be posted in their reviews. I can't blame them. Certainly the things that have happened are reprehensible, but a website for hotel/restaurant/activities reviews aren't necessarily the place to post them, especially not while investigations are going on.
If TA would have cited that as a reason, it may be more forgiving. That's not the case though. They've reportedly deleted reviews because they're not "family friendly". One woman says she was raped by a worker at a resort. The resort nor police would investigate so she posted on TA. They took the review down. https://boingboing.net/2017/11/27/tripadvisor-blocks-posts-about.html
Others have posted (or tried to post) about deaths that happened at resorts. Nope, taken down. https://www.forbes.com/sites/janetw...pes-deaths-deleted-from-reviews/#46d98fe75f44

IMO, if they are going to "cover up" (and yes, it seems like a cover up to me) major issues like rape, assault, and death, what minor issues are being covered up?

Even with the recent hurricane hitting the area?

Well they are going in July 2019 so the islands should have recovered 99% by then. And it is not hurricane season

We are doing a Caribbean cruise and have been updated with the exception of Dominca all our islands will be up & running in the touristy areas. We are cruising from PR and just updated by our hotel that by the time we cruise April 2018 it will be all good. The whole island may not be okay but the areas we are at will be fine.

Not every Caribbean island was decimated & some where barely touched.

Ok well I'm just going to have to disagree about the proper forum to allege criminal activities. A fluff travel website will never be appropriate, imo.
Enjoy your trip.
