Favorite Adhesive for Scrapping?

I'm fairly new to scrapping, and I'm wondering what everyone's thoughts are on their favorite adhesive. There are so many different products out there and it's overwhelming! Thanks for any input!

I have tried alot of them. For 95% of my scrapbooking I use the Creative Memories tape runner. I love love love this. I always have a minimum of 3 refills on hand.
I also have a Zyron machine that will turn larger projects in stickers (also have a laminating cartridge, and magnet one) Love my Zyron as well.

I usually use the Hermafix Dotto adhesive (removable). I can move my pictures around with no problems. I also use the Hermafix Tabs (like photo splits but comes in a runner).

For letters and small die-cuts I use the Xyron 150 (the "little X"). I also have a Xyron 500 for larger die-cuts.

For heavier stuff like buttons or metal accents, I use Glue Dots.

I have tried several brands but my favorite is Tombo MonoAdhesive. I like the permanent type. Welcome to scrapbooking-it's addictive!!

Another vote for the CM tape runner. I also have the mini-tape runner for little jobs. LOVE it.

Thanks for the tips! I've ordered one of the Xyron 5" machines and I have the CM tape! Looks like I'm set!

i have 4 xyron machines, the 150, 250, 510, and 900. i think i have used the 510 2x and the 900 once. the 250 isn't even out of the box.

the 150 on the other hand is the one i use. you just said that you ordered the 5" ones...get one of the 150's...it is great for using sizzlets or qk, or ribbon, everything!!! its small and a heck of alot cheaper than the others...you can also run out to wal mart in the middle of the night and be able to find it.

i don't have any of the cm stuff, but if you are looking for good adhesives you can also try the duck brand stuff also at walmart...alot of people swear by this stuff...it is good...just don't buy the repositionable.

i also like the hermafix adhesives, and glue dots...those are the best!!!

another vote for the hermafix tabs!! I used to use the CM tabs, but I like the hermafix better.

As it happens, I was at Walmart today and picked up one of the 150s! It was cheap enough and I know I can get the refills there, so that was all the convincing I needed. The one I ordered was from QVC, and it comes with some refills, so it's not a bad deal. Thanks again for all your pointers!

I've been scrapping for about 6-7 years and I've always used the blue Zig 2-way glue. It's obvious from this thread that it's not favored around here but I've always liked it and it's easy to find. Note...it's not repositionable when wet! If you use it wet, it's permanent. Of course, there's always Un-Du!

I use several adhesives...I use the Zig 2 way glue pen for *tiny* things and I use my Xyron X and 150 for letters and such. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my Duck adhesive and use that the most for pictures or cardstock. I also have many glue sticks that I bought when I first got into scrapbooking, but I hardly ever use them.
