Favorite Activities While Staying On At Nassau?

We will be staying on the ship (Dream) at Nassau. What are some of your favorite on board activities for the day? While we love the pool, I don't forsee us wanting to hang around it all day as that is what much of our summer consists of at home.

Also, are the kids clubs usually open if we would like some kid free time that day?

We are a family of 4 - 2 boys ages 6 & 9.

We did get off the ship in Nassau, but only briefly, so we had to figure out this piece too. And we were on the sailing that had the stomach bug outbreak so we refused to use the pools with that knowledge. We really enjoyed watching a movie in the theater on the ship. There were several running that day. It was a nice cool break from the sun.

There is always 1.mini golf
2. the detective agency search
3. movies,
4. photo ops with smaller chance of others getting in your shot
5. they do have kids clubs times during the day
6. get a day pass ahead of time to Rainforest thru Amenities OR book the whole length of cruise pass the day you board. Drop the kids in the clubs and go have some quiet time in the Rainforest.
7. Walk and /or sit on Deck 4 and people watch as they come back onto the boat.

We have done this ...especially if we have done the port before. Movies are my 13 year old sons favorite pastime on sea days or Nassau days (either my husband or I will go with him...depends on the movie) . My daughter (14) usually heads to the clubs . If I am not at the movie, I am at Rainforest. We all meet back at the cabin and then go play a round of Goofy and then Max mini golf (championship game status here) Then grab some lunch by the pool (we have late dining, so lunch is typically 2 or 3 PM ) We will walk a few laps on Deck 4 and end up there watching folks come back onto the ship.
