Fave in HS?

My favorite is The Holywood Brown Derby = 2 credits if on the DDP

Others, 1 credit each, IMHO are, in this order:

50's Primetime Cafe

Mama Melrose

Hollywood and Vine (Buffet)

Sci-Fi Dine-in

The Sci-FI is a must-do for us not so much for the food but for the atmosphere.
We also enjoy Mama Melrose's...

The boat to Epcot.........or at least to the Epcot-area resorts..........:rolleyes1

I agree with Brown Derby as our favorite, but we had a really good meal at Mama Melrose's this past trip.

Sci Fi is fun with the movies and eating in the cars and the burgers at lunch are pretty good.

50's has been hit and miss over the years for us. I do like the pot roast though!

My family loves Brown Derby. We have always gone on the dlx ddp so the credits never bothered us. We also like Sci Fi and they have a new menu that looks really good. We keep wanting to try 50's but can never seem to get an adr.

We love the PT 50's diner. The food is always excellent, the theme is a lot of fun, and the servers are funny.

The Hollywood Brown Derby is the only worthwhile restaurant in the park. Luckily, there are many good options at the surrounding resorts.

Sci Fi for the atmosphere....as the OP said, its not so much about the food, moreso atmosphere. But the burgers are delish!

50's for the yummy comfort food. Antics are great too.

50's Prime time. The food was decent, we really enjoyed the atmosphere.

50's PT is the best for us, never had a bad meal there yet

The boat to Epcot.........or at least to the Epcot-area resorts..........:rolleyes1

:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

I seriously agree with this. H&V was atrociously messy... definitely took my appetite away. The food at SciFi is overpriced and mediocre. We like Mama Melrose but it's so much like Olive Garden, without the unlimited breadsticks and salad (free). We also like 50's PT but sometimes the schtick gets to be just too much. Haven't done Brown Derby because of the price. Our FAVORITE ts at the studios is... Kouzzina! We take the boat to the Boardwalk, have dinner, and either stay or take the boat back to DHS for the evening. It's a lovely, relaxing break, and the food at the Boardwalk outshines anything at DHS (even ESPN Club is better!).

Hands down - 50's Prime Time. Never a bad experience here. Sci Fi is good for atmosphere, but food not as good as 50's

my whole family loved mama melrose , but 50's prime time is hands down the best experience for atmosphere and the food is fattening but great!

sci-fi is cool to eat at one time for the setting , but the food is disgusting.

I have been to 50's Prime Time Cafe and Brown Derby, however I between those two locations I would say my favorite one is 50's Prime Time Cafe.

We had a great meal at Mama Melrose this past May with the F! package. As a PP said it is comparable to Olive Garden, but I like Olive Garden. And the fact that we got reserved seating at Fantasmic! was a bonus.

The Cobb Salad is pretty awesome. It's already chopped up so you can just eat it pelican-style!

My votes for HS would be:
- Brown Derby
- Mama Melrose
