My favorite gift this year came from my 17 yr old DD. She went through old pictures of my parents, both passed away now, and made a collage of copies of the pictures. She has their wedding picture, pictures of them with her when she was little, and she wrote a poem about the stories that they used to tell her. Dad was 51 when I was born, mom was 41, so their stories were from the WWII era. I will treasure this always. Sometimes teenagers are just amazing...

I was spoiled soooooo bad this year!! It would be impossible to pick one "favorite".. I love them all.. I guess the ones that touched me the most though were the 12 gifts that my son-in-law went through the trouble of purchasng himself - with no input from my DD - because in his own words, "You've had a tough year and I wanted you to have a nice Christmas.." How could you not love a son-in-law who is that thoughtful? I only wish that I could afford to be so generous with him..
