Fav. thing about the cruise?

well, the disney med. in like the fall? i forget when it is. i really want to go. but it's way to expensive for a family of four to go after going on two huge vacations.
so... we're trying to convince my parents into going on an eastern or western.

yea they are! the thing i love most about them is that you get to meet so many ppl and you make friends for life. i met my best friend on a curise and it was a year ago. we talk everyday and see each other everytime i go to disney (she lives in florida)

Yeah it is really cool. See disney does a lot for ppl. not just bring the child out but making you see who you are and meeting other ppl.

I was not impressed with thew Stack at all. I was there four years ago when it was the ESPN Zone and I was still in the Lab. That was all I have been waiting for?! The only decent game was Gotcha! where me and this other guy were bodyguards for a friend of ours! :rotfl2:

I did love the food and the shows and movies. I gotta hand it to Lyn Trefzger the ventriloquist, the most fun I had on the trip. lol Btw, I got off the ship last Saturday. That is right, I was on the first Double Scoop Cruise! :teeth:

Now i am worried about going to the stack. i really loved the aloft it was so much fun. :rotfl:

Don't listen to me however, as I am very picky. I was either reading a book, hanging with friends, on shore, or seeing a movie, so I was really busy.

mine would be:

the arcade
the amazingly good food
castaway cay!! beyond beautiful there.
how friendly the crew is to everyone
there "smoothies" aka milkshakes...
just how u can like always find something fun to do.
BINGO!!!!!!

This is the first time i'm going on the cruise with the Stack there. I've been on others when it was Common Grounds. But has anyone else gone on the cruise with the Stack being there. If so what did you like and not like about it? Do they still have the scavenger hunt for example? :confused3

Common Grounds sucked i am sorry but it did. the Aloft is so much better! it was like this huge livingroom where we sat around watched TV, played games, listened to music and just hung out.

i've been there. on the wonder you can still see bits of the sportsbox. like the railing is wooden baseball bats that say ESPN. but it still blends in.

and they have a video scavenger hunt and something called a digi hunt, we didn't do the digi hunt.

ah that is interesting. i just love the hanging out and chilling. the group activities are okay.

If anyone goes, tell Mary that "Dale, Jared, and Chris say Hi!" lol We always picked on her, but in a loving way.

What is the "digi hunt"? And are there any new activities on the ship for teens? I hope it's more fun than common grounds was.

i only went to common grounds once. but like i said before Aloft is the best!!

well, the video scavenger hunt was when they gave you a video camera.
from what i undertstood of the digi hunt, was that it was the same thing, but with a digital camera. the digital camera was kind of lame and no one wanted to do it.

i don't know if there's anything new. i think there is from last year, but i was never there when the common grounds existed.

Oh, one of my favorite on the cruise was Shooting Stars, where you are given a video camera and make a movie. So what do we do? We went to Midship elevators and stuck one of those fancy chairs and a marble table in the glass elevators. We started the JackAft Casino. We went up and down filming for twenty minutes with a group taking pics just outside. Then we got caught and had to stop, nothing worse. Then we got another of the managers at the Stack to go and recreate the scene. I believe it was Erin. Anyways we refilmed it and gave false names and ran off. Everyone loved it! :happytv: :rotfl2: :lmao: :cool1: Probably one of my favorite times on the ship. We were also going to film attack of the trash cans and sticking them in elevators and such running away. But we didn't want to get caught again.

I LOVE THE DISNEY CRUISE!!!!!!!!!!! i REMEMBER DOING KARAOKE IN STUDIO SEA AND WATCHING THE GROUP WE WERE TRAVELING WITH MAKE FOOLS OF THEM SELVES! DON'T ASK WHY I'M STILL ON CAPS LOCK i DON'T KNOW MYSELF. LOL. I didn't go to the tean that often but the entertainment was fabulous. and I always felt there was something to do which doesn't happen on most cruises believe me and I've been on two other cruise lines besides disneyand neither held a candle to it. but thats to be expected.
