Can anyone tell me what resort your teenagers like the best.
:earsgirl: And Why?

It may depend on the ages and how much time you spend at the resort. I took my brother (15) and sister (18) to WDW this past July and we stayed at POR. They really liked the resort and the food court. A bonus was also the short bus rides. Because we went to the water parks, the pool didn't matter much. POR seems a little more "grown-up" than the values, at least for my siblings. They are at the phase still where they don't think some things are "cool" ie: giant Disney characters at the hotel. My sister would have really liked to stay at AKL because of the animals. I think my brother would have liked the GF just because he knew it was the most expensive and we know a CM who works there who said a famous sports person was there.

Our teens (2 boys 12 & 16) really enjoyed our stay at the YC. The oldest liked the fact that we felt safe enough in the area to let him go to the pool, arcade, and around the Boardwalk on his own. Our youngest liked being next door to Epcot (his favorite).

Both of them are really wanting to stay at the Contemporary next time, though. The youngest would like to stay at the Poly as well. GF just didn't seem to impress them too much (oh well, guess DH and I will have to go there on our own! ;) ).

We stayed at the AKL also. The 16 y/o was not as impressed as the 12 y/o. But the little one is more of an animal fanatic, so he was thrilled. I thought the room was a little small for our family (our boys are tall and don't care for sleeping together). But I thought the bathroom worked fine for us. Of course, I'm the only girl so it might be a bit tight for a larger group of women.

I'm 17, my sister is 15, and my cousin is 14 and we LOVED the WL. Our favorite resort.

My 14 yr old loved the BC - SAB, being so close to Mission Space, etc.

My DS14 loved CBR when we were there in April, and so did my DS11. They loved the beaches, hammocks, food court, arcade, all the pools, and especially the marina, where you can rent the SeaRaycers if you're 12 or older.

I think they preferred the quiet pools over the main pool, just because they had more of the pool to themselves. It's an awesome place, and we're headed back in a year!

My ds14 loves YC for SAB, proximity to the Boardwalk, MGM & Epcot. He also loves the pool activities in the afternoons with Raul, and he loves that all of his favorite restaurants are within walking distance: FF, BlueZoo, Palio and YSH :flower:

CSR is a good choice for teens in mods. Awesome pool, sand volleyball court, 2 arcades (one at the main pool) and a great 123 ft pool slide with a few good turns.

Thanks Everone,

We staying at BC 5 nights in July , just for SAB and EPCOT and Boardwalk so the kids can do stuff without the "parents". I think I made the right choice :earsgirl:
Doing a spilt stay for 4 more nights but not sure where right now.

Poly Nov 2000
ASMu Oct 2001
Grosvenor Aug 2002
DoubleTree Aug 2003
POFQ Nov 2004

Mine like the Contemporary the best. It is the coolest, I guess. I don't like it.

At the Beach Club, they like the guy who salutes them -- they salute back and he complements them! :) They also like Beaches and Cream, and the ability to walk over to the Boardwalk and load up on candy and treats at the Boardwalk Bakery. I like that, too. Gets 'em out of the way for a while. :flower:

12 and 19 year old

Deluxe favorite: AKL (ambiance/animals)
Next in line is Swan/Dolphin (location/ heavenly beds/pool)
(We have visited all of the deluxes and they have no urge to actually stay anywhere else except possibly the Poly)

Favorite Mod: CSR (pool/food court)

Favorite Value: Pop (cheap! extra trip!)

Both of my kids love the Contemporary!! I think it's the food court and the fact that we can walk to MK each night. We'll be headed back again in Dec!!

The Dolphin & Swan. He LOVED the heavenly beds and grotto pool. Also, enjoyed being "on his own" in the boardwalk area.
