Fav mod and why?

Just curious to see what everyone's favorite moderate resort is and why. Plus, I'd love to hear any comments on the theme pools. We stayed at the mods years ago pre kids so the pool wasn't as much an issue to us then as it is now. Thanks for any comments!

I like FQ because it is small and quiet. It has boat transport to DTD, and one central bus stop. I miss Bonfamillies for a sit-down meal, but Boatwright's is a quick walk from the resort, and DTD is a relaxing boat ride away.

Does the bus at POFQ go through all the bus stops at POR, too?


I'm wondering if I need to go ahead and book POFQ for next early April now? Does this mod resort fill up faster?

Are any of the views at POFQ facing the parking lot?

Right now I can only choose between 2 (CSR & POFQ) both of which we had a short stay at. While @ POFQ we did take the boat over POR and used the pool, had a drink at Muddy Waters ect.....

Looks nice and I can't wait to try it next year. But to choose between the 2 that I have tried I would say CSR.

I think because of it's theming (especially the Ranchos section) and my family love Pepper Market not to mention that pool!

Right now that is my favorite! But ask the same question next year!

Because of the pool, transportation and the Pepper Market. Plus CSR has amenities that other mods don't such as a gym, spa and hair salon.

Yes. The ride seems long, but you're pickd up first and dropped off first, so when you go to the parks you have a seat, and when you come back, you get off first if you're standing.

I've never had a problem booking FQ over other mods; my clients seem to prefer POR, which does book early.

Yes. You can pay fro a water view room. I know that before the renovation, all king rooms had water views. None had views of the parking lot. Just request a courtyard view when you make your reservation, and again when you check-in. You can usually be accomodated (there are not as many parking lot vews here as there are at other mods).

Do all the mods have hair dryers and irons? I think at one time only CSR did?

The French Quarter is my favorite moderate. I love this resort!!! I love the fact that's it's small & compact.

I've stayed at both the Riverside & CBR and hated them both. Too spread out for my taste.
