For some reason I'm super nervous about making a grocery order. Something about ordering US from Canada is freaking me out. So which one have you ordered from that you found easy to use and easy to use a cdn credit card? Thanks all

Instacart. Pay using Google or Apple pay, pick out what you want from the store(s) and a time you want it delivered to your hotel. We usually use Publix.

If ordering alcohol you will have to be there to receive it, otherwise you can have it left with bell services.

Can't speak to using a credit card directly as I've always just used my credit card via Google pay.

Maybe someone else here can give you some positive confirmation that you can. Otherwise garden grocer does take Canadian credit cards for sure.

I've used Garden Grocer and it was fine, probably more expensive than ordering from some of the other places available now but it was convenient and I was able to get everything I wanted at the time.

Do you think it’s better to order once you arrive at the resort, or before you leave Canada? Any difference? We don’t need to have the groceries waiting for us at check in. We have also never done a grocery order before, thanks OP for asking!

Depends whom you're ordering from.

Garden Grocery or Dizzy Dolphin both require you to order ahead and leave your order with bell services sometime on your arrival day.

Instacart and Uber Eats both do better as a pickup and deliver service so those I'd order after I landed, which allows a better chance of you approving the correct substitutions which seems to be fairly frequent with Instacart at least.

We've done Garden Grocer twice and had no issues. Definitely a bit more expensive than other options but easy to deal with and can usually get everything you need. I did have to fiddle around with the Zip Code to get them to take my CDN CC though. It did eventually work.

I use Instacart. They get food from the local Publix so it is quite fresh and they have most items available. You can specify a possible for every item on your list.

We have used Garden Grocer on trips we flew down (if we drive we stop at a grocery store on the way) .. never had an issue with them.. always been on time and had the order accurate… have it delivered to bell service the day we arrive and pick up it.…I know they are not cheapest but we have never had an issue and to me that has value as well

Have used Dizzy Dolphin multiple times, never had any issues with them. Always delivered on time.

With the way our airlines are going I’d wait till arrival to order.

I’ve never used a delivery service. After I get our room we usually Uber/Lyft to closest Publix. It’s always cheaper than the delivery fee & tip.

Another vote for Publix Instacart. I used Garden Grocer once. Great experience but they are expensive. I have used Instacart since then, both before leaving Canada as well as while at Disney. Delivery within 2 hrs when I have used them while at Disney. Always a great experience with them.

I have been researching this for a few weeks now and the best I have found is

They don't have mark ups on the products and they have a flat fee for delivery. They are a group of Disney employees who were laid off during Covid and this is a business they started. You book your date ahead, it looks to be the easiest from what I can tell. I follow them on Facebook as well. Have not seen a negative report yet.
Just another option. This will be the company I use mostly due to pricing.

We used instacart 4 times in march. First time from publix , it was waiting for us at the Riverside. They stored milk and perishable in their fridge. 3 other times was to get covid related items from cvs. Everything went smoothly. I will do it agin in October. We stayed 21 days and never had any problem with our cdn credit card.
