I only had one day I could go to the parks and was pretty worried it would be crazy packed. But it was very manageable. I did everything I wanted to do and more, and never waited in any real lines! Here is what I did:
Arrived at gates at 7:00 am. Not so much because I wanted to be crazy early, but more so because I was jet legged and wide awake and it was beautiful. I was second at the gates. At 7:40 or so they opened the gates but held us as the turnstyles about five minutes. Then they let us in and held us at the rope (I was first at the rope). At 8:00 am they let us in.
Alice in Wonderland - Walked right on
Storybook canal boats - Waited 3 min (till next boat came)
Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride - Walked right on
Casey Jr Train - Waited for train to arrive (2 min)
Got Haunted Mansion Fastpass
Jungle Cruise - Posted 5 min wait, was on the next boat
Indiana Jones - Posted 10 min wait, did single rider and walked right on
Pirates of the Caribbean - Posted 5 min wait, waited about 3 min
Got Haunted Mansion FastPass
Haunted Mansion - They didn't take my fastpass, lol, walked right on
Splash Mountain - Single Rider - Walked right on
Pooh Bear - Posted 5 min, waited 2 min
Haunted Mansion - They again didn't take my fastpass, walked right on
Pirates of the Caribbean - Posted 5 min, waited 5 min
Lunch at French Market - Sat and waited about 5 min for it to open as it wasn't quite 11:00 am
Train to Toontown - waited for next train to arrive
Get Roger Rabbit FastPass
Snow White - Waited 5 min
Small World - Posted 10 min, waited 5 min
Roger Rabbit – Use FastPass - walked right on, posted wait was 10 min
Walk around Toon Town
Get Star Tours FastPass (I meant to get buzz lightyear, oops)
Mickey and the Magical Map show (1:00) - Went in 15 min early, but could have waited much longer, lots of seats available.
Train to tomorrowland - waited for next train to arrive
Get Buzz Light Year FastPass
Monorail - waited for next monorail to arrive
Star Tours - used fastpass
Get Buzz Lightyear Fastpass
Eat Churro - wahoo no line at the churro cart
Use two buzz lightyear fastpasses - walked right on each time (posted 5 min wait and 10 min wait each time)
Pinocchio - Waited about 10 min (I think my longest wait all day)
Tiki Room - Waited for next show to start
Indiana Jones (was in line but ride broke down so left)
Davey Crocket Canoes - Waited for next canoe
Went to ride Pooh Bear again but it was down so ate dinner at Hungry Bear Restaurant
Train all the way around to front of park - Waited for next train to arrive
Walked around including looking at the museum of park history, gift shops on main street.
Left at 5:45 pm.
This was a very leisurely day, lots of pictures, shopping in stores, bathroom breaks etc. Not commando run run run, and I got tons done! I was very impressed!
