Father's Day at Disney

We are going to be in Disney during Father's Day. Any ideas to make it special?

About 2 years ago we got DH the cutest Father's Day pin. It has Stitch driving an SUV & says something about "Dad's Toys rule" or something to that effect.

He won't wear a lanyard so we put in on his WDW cap.


I know my DH would love to take the Segway Tour & have dinner at the Yachtsman.

DH gets to do a Ride Along at the WDW Richard Petty Driving Experience. Then he wants to eat at the ESPN Club.

Some years ago, I ordered room service for him (breakfast steak and eggs) and made reservations for a massage at GF, all was very much enjoyed.

We spent Father's Day there last year, it was great!!! DH got to pick the park he wanted to spend the day in and he picked Epcot so we scheduled supper there at Le Cellier's...he rode his favorite rides Soarin' and Test Track, toured the countries and I made us shirts from the design board. His favorite character is Donald Duck, so his shirt said #1 Dad in bubble letters with Donald inside the letters and me and DD shirts said We love(heart) Dad in bubble letters with Donald Duck inside. Also, DH got really into collecting the pins, so DD found him a pin that said Happy Father's Day 2008 and bought it for him and after supper as we were leaving the park, we got to ride Soarin' one last time with no wait!!! It was an awesome day!!!

STAR WARS WEEKEND!!!!!!!!

Family vaction during Fathers Day 06 & 07. I am a Star Wars Fan
and what a way to spend Father's Day with the family. Thats the park
I pick.

Unfortunatly due to scheduling conflicts this years vacation will be in July
and missing SW Weekends but the trade off is staying @ the Poly for
9 days. July will not be here soon enough.

Also oldest DS and I get to attend Touranment of Roses Parade this coming
New Year's and part of the Conroe Tiger Band of Conroe, Texas is a preformance @ Disneyland for the Band as well as the Parade.

2 Disney's in 1 year is icing on the cake.

Star Wars weekend is a must for DH. I had forgotten that will be going on. We've had to change our trip dates several times due to weather here. I'm a teacher and our last day keeps extending. Hopefully it will stop!

This is our 2nd trip together since '05, and we can't wait to take the DS, 2, to visit. We have just enough planned to keep us busy. I don't blame you for waiting out on the Poly. One of these days we will stay.

Hoping to start taking 2 trips a year ourselves, but that will have to sit on a back burner for now.

Anyway, thanks for the reminder of SW weekend!
