Father's Day 2017: Where should we go?

We will be leaving for our next trip on my b-day in June and we will be there over Father's Day (I am a father). DW asked me what I wanted to do--she meant eat. It will be me, DW, DMiL, DS14 and DD9. I was thinking about HDDR or the California Grill Brunch (and come back for Wishes). My only concerns are:
--we have done HDDR 3 times so it might be fun to do something new; and,
--not sure DS and DD will have enough of a good time at CG to justify the cost.

I would appreciate any thoughts or ideas you may have for a fun Father's Day meal! TIA!

You're dad. The kids must suffer.

I am a proponent of the idea that while you may need to accommodate the kids to some extent, and sure they're the reason you're a father more or less, they're also old enough to understand that the world doesn't spin around them.

Why not dinner at CG instead of brunch? It's not prix fixe so they'll have more flexibility in ordering, and you'll get the fireworks benefit.
