My dad and I are considering taking a father-daughter trip together since my mom will be working and unable to come.

Plus, Disney's been sending both of us emails with awesome deals and is causing the "Disney bug" to bite both of us even harder... :teeth:

So, if we decide (money allowing) to take a four day trip... We'd be doing the meal deal and probably go to all four theme parks.

Has anyone else ever done a trip like this? What are somethings we could do to make it extra special? Especially since this would be our first trip that's just the two of us.

Thanks in advance for your help from a "Daddy's girl" and her Dad.

Have a great time. You will make memories that last a lifetime. I used to travel w/ just my dad. The dynamic is different not traveling w/ both parents. I suspect it will be just as fun for him as you. Can't really recommend specifics other than do something you might not get to do because your mom wouldn't do it. For example, ride space mountain. Silly I know but my mom NEVER went on it. So we'd go on to something else.
Have a great time. btw- I think it's great that your mom is supportive of you two traveling to WDW. I'm not sure I could...I'd want to go to badly!

maybe do something a little different, like a round of disney mini golf (nice little father/daughter competition), then a nice dinner after at the Yachtsman Steakhouse (bet he'd love that). Do you guys like fishing? Or how about renting a pontoon boat and just driving around. we did that last trip (from the poly marina) - it was really neat driving ourselves under the monorail line and over behind bay lake towers. We all really loved that! Have you visited the race track? Maybe see if there's something to watch there. Or the wide world of sports (if you're both into any of that). How about eating around the world showcase (1 snack in each country to share).

can't think of anything else...

it sounds wonderful for you!

Sounds like an amazing memorable trip.
How about the snorkeling at EPCOT in the Seas/
Looks really cool. and then eat at the restaurant Coral Reef

Another Daddy's girl! My brother and I were primarily raised by a single father and loving Disney is something I got from him. I am the planner in my family and I go to him for his opinions. I will suggest a restaurant and he will give a yay or nay. On my last trip my dad loved breakfast at Kona Cafe and Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue. He wants to do both of those again on our next trip. We also enjoyed World Showcase.

One important thing to do is take tons of pictures. Maybe after your trip you can make your dad a scrapbook or photo album devoted to your special trip.

How cute and special is spending a WDW trip with your dad! I think you should do the High Tea at the Grand Floridian, perhaps a Wishes Cruise, or a special Tour together at MK! Definately get the Photopass and most of all have a great daddy/daughter trip....so cool:goodvibes
