I watched Final Destination and that was pretty much that. Just a couple of hours entertainment, nothing more.

The next day, I read an article about a woman who survived the Air France air crash with her husband. They missed their flight, a flight which consequently crashed into the sea and killed it's passengers.

After returning home, the woman and her husband crashed into a truck on the drive back to their house, the woman suffering fatal injuries!

I found this quite creepy, and made me thing about the nature of fate and the idea of death catching up on people.

What ya reckon?

I think she was fated to die in a car crash.

I gamble and have studied gambling theories. One roll of a die does not in any way determine the next roll. You can roll a three five times in a roll and the odds of the sixth roll are still the same for getting 1-6.

So to me, the car and the airplane didn't know about each other, so how can one possibly effect the other.

And here's another thought: if she got on the plane, would it still have crashed?

Link to story.

Hmmm very odd, but as said before perhaps she was not meant to die in a plane crash :confused3

Reminds me of a story... One day an angel saw Death looking queerly at a mouse. Being an angel she wanted to save the mouse and thought the mouse was going to die so she hid it in a cave thousands of miles away. An eagle swooped into the cave and ate it. Later Death told the angel I was surprised to see the mouse thousands of miles away from where he was supposed to die and then you came along.

No one gets more than they are destined and before their time
