Exactly how fat is a "fat pen" to give to the characters to sign autographs?

Are we talking HUGE, or will a Sharpie work? You know the bigger one, but not the huge Highlighter ones you'll see.

We brought a really big pen with us this trip. I got it from dollar tree. It was kind of funny when my dd9 mistakenly gave it to Buzz ( he stamps), and he began clicking it on his head instead. It was a strange moment, that we have on tape by the way, and dd9 and I still pick up a pen and click it against our heads.

We have always used sharpies. On our last trip, we used the sharpies that you click open (no lids) which made it easier.

Characters like Sharpies best. :earsboy: Also note that fullsize Sharpies are preferred; I know the little ones are tempting because they're easy to carry, but they're harder for the characters to hold.

Sharpies! The re-tractable kind!

2 different handlers told us last week they wished everyone would use those (we did). They are easier for the characters to use and no fumbling with lids.
