:confused3 Sorry if this has already been asked but I just had a couple of questions in regards to the fastpasses, I don't remember for sure how they work can I get a fastpass in different lands or can I hold more than one fastpass at a time? Thanks.

You can get a pass for the same time at different parks (i.e. you can have a pass for TOT and Splash), but you cannot have a pass for the same park (i.e. Indy and Splash). Does that make sense?

Here is Darkbeer's thread about Fastpass basics and tricks. Essential reading:

In general there is no restriction on how many Fastpasses you can hold or for which rides. The restrictions are on how fast you can collect them. In general you can get FP every 40-120 minutes.

Here's one secret we always take advatage of. The fast pass for Roger Rabbit in Disneyland, and the fast pass for Roarin' Rapids in California Adventure are not networked to the other fast pass machines in the park. That means that you can get a fast pass at Roarin' Rapids, and immediately get another fast pass at Soarin'! We do this every trip.

The other secret is that cast members usually don't care if your fast pass has exprired. As long as it is the same day, use any fast pass that you have, even if it is past the time stated on the pass.

Have fun!
Al

p.s. we'll be at Disneyland (from Northern CA) this weekend for our 2nd trip this year.

Well if i get a fastpass the way you guys recommend, how long does it take going back and forth from one park to another?

is there a way to go in one park and to another using a special exit?

If you want to get Fastpasses at the opposite park, then if you have a fast walker and it is not a busy time of day (i.e., long lines at the gates to get in) then it takes maybe 20 minutes round trip.
