Hey Folks

Just a quick question, are there any Fastpass tickets you can purchase at Walt Disney World? I understand there is a certain pass you can buy at Islands Of Adventure and Universal Studios.

Thanks

No - but any guest can use the Fastpass facility :thumbsup2

As miffy says; Fastpass is free for everyone at Disney [come back at a specified time to get in a short line]...unlike Universal where, not only do you have to pay, but they seem to change it's benefit depending on the mood they're in :sad2: Sometimes you'll get in a shorter line, other times you'll get front of queue immediately. I could be wrong, but that's how I see it.

There has been talk of Disney adopting the Universal policy (i.e. only available for onsite guests, or for a fee), but I'm not sure that it could work on such a large scale. It's a definite incentive to stay onsite, so I can understand why Disney would at least consider it.

We stayed on site at Universal and didnt get that perk. They told us it was now only a thing you can buy?

No, it's very definitely still a perk (and the best one) of staying onsite. There must have been some confusion - all you need to do is show your room key at the Express entry to the attractions. You don't get free entry to the parks themselves.
