My DH and I will be taking my DS to WDW in January. He will turn 2 right before we go. For rides like Peter Pan's Flight and Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, can he just go into the FP line with us even though he doesn't have a ticket??

Yup. If he doesn't need a ticket to get in the park, he can just go with you through the FP line. (Since it's impossible for him to have a FP. )

Another under 3 tip...he eats free at character meals. This one came in handy for us last summer, actually made it cheaper to eat character meals than regular TS places.
