Fastpass + with military tics

Sunday opened our window to start booking FP+ but I can't without the ticket numbers. I won't be able to purchase tics til we get to the World, is there a way to still book FP+?

We are buying whatever is offered after Jan 1. As far as I know the 2015 tics have not been announced yet have they?

the current SrH program runs until the end of September 2015.

the regular Stars and Stripes tickets are available all year round

If you are buying the military salute tickets- 4 day hoppers for $179(?) then you can buy them at your local MWR office. They are good from October 2014- September 2015. They will give you vouchers which you can link and make fast pass selections at your 60 day mark. Once you get to the parks you will still need to activate your tickets at guest relations so they can see your military ID....

Actually, how far out you can make your FP+ selections depends on where you are staying. I just did our FP+ ressies at 30 days out (for each day independently at 30 days) using the 4-Day Military hopper. We are staying at Shades of Green. The only way you get the 60 day window is if you are staying at a WDW hotel. We are staying 13-20 December and had no problem getting FP+ for our party of 10 on all the days we requested.

The current AFS (Salute) ticket offer runs from Sept 28, 2014 thru October 3, 2015. It's a 4-day ticket with either Park Hopper ($177), or Water Parks ($177) or both options ($207). If you don't have a hotel booked yet, you are also eligible right now, during the program dates, to book a stay at a Disney resort at a great savings. Deluxe = 40% off, Moderate = 35% off, Value = 30% off. Not every room is available for discount. And, of course, Shades of Green is a great place to stay, with transportation to the theme parks.

You can purchase AFS tickets in advance (get a voucher) from your base MWR. At WDW you can get the tickets tax-free at Shades of Green, or pay tax and purchase tickets thru Disney ticketing facilities. Based on where you're staying, you can book advance FP+ with the ticket vouchers. At Disney resorts = 60 days. At Shades of Green = 30 days. Outside Disney property = 30 days.

We just went through this--my son is a Marine, and he comes home in a couple of weeks from Japan. We are going 12/5-12/11, and we are staying at Shades of Green. We bought the tickets, and Shades of Green emailed photos of the back with instructions. We used those to make our FastPass ressies.

One thing we didn't do was buy magic bands. It is my understanding we can use the tickets at fastpass entrances.

You are correct.. You scan your plastic card at the "mickey" for fast pass...
